Calling All Women of Strength!!!

A strong woman works out every day to keep her body in shape…
But a woman of strength builds relationships to keep her soul in shape.

A strong woman isn't afraid of anything…
But a woman of strength shows courage in the midst of fear.

A strong woman won't let anyone get the better of her…
But a woman of strength gives the best of herself to everyone.

A strong woman makes mistakes and avoids the same in the future…
A woman of strength realizes life's mistakes can also be unexpected blessings and capitalizes on them.

A strong woman wears a look of confidence on her face…
But a woman of strength wears grace.

A strong woman has faith that she is strong enough for the journey…
But a woman of strength has faith that it is in the journey that she will become strong.

TIME OUT!  What is this business about a catheter with a c section?  Noone has mentioned THAT to me?  I don't want one.  I am likely to have a c section as well.

mommyin10-  So nothing about being effaced or dilated?  I thought for sure they would have checked that today?  I know they don't want to disturb anything but I would think after a month he would have done the "finger check"?  I'm glad you were happy with the appointment but sorry they upped your insulin again.

Hey, ladies :) So, my appts went well today. We went to the nutritionist first & other than increasing my insulin (again!), everything looks good. I'll go back next Friday.
My ob appt was great. I had kind of worried that I wasn't feeling movement where my little girl is & wondered if she had just moved, because I feel A LOT of movement on my right side, crossing over my belly to the left. Well, that was the case! :) Both babies look great & had good heartbeats. At this point, he's sunnyside up & she's breach. My ob actually thinks I'll make it til near my due date! Imagine that! :) Based on our discussions over the months, we decided we'll definitely have a c section because of all my "issues". So, we'll schedule it for mid-to-late March & if I go into labor earlier, they'll still do the c-section since that's our preference. It's all based on the size of my uterus, my gestational diabetes, the worry that one baby will be born naturally & the other will become distressed, resulting in an emergency c section anyway... I'll be starting non-stress tests next week & will go every Tuesday & Friday til the babies are born. So, next Friday we'll go from the high risk doc, to the nutritionist, to the hospital for our non-stress test. Busy day! Luckily each of my doctor's offices is located at or near the hospital ;) My parents are also planning to visit that afternoon, so I think I'll be pooped! Anyway, all's well! :)

Kmcarino: Glad to hear your appt went well. Not too long to get your results from your ob ;) Feel better!

Guesito: Thanks :) Good to hear from you & to hear your granddaughter is doing so well. Keep us posted on your reversal & best wishes!!!

Dnikki: I can't believe how much you do in a day when I'm
just laying here! :) How are you feeling?

Keyan: I can see shaving for a natural delivery, but it still strikes me funny they'd shave you for a c section, but it doesn't matter! :) You're probably right that it has to do with the catheter. I'm thinking of you & hoping for your single +opk soon! :)

Sorry I have been away.... Well here's an update: As you may already knw I have had custody of my 4 month old grandbaby since she was 3 weeks old ao I have been sooo busy taking care of her...Im so in love, Its kind of odd because after my M/C and all the TTC issues this little girl came into my life sort of like to heel me from all the hurt of M/C's, BFN'S,  Im so in love with her, she is the happiest baby in the world!! So I kind of put the TTC to the side as you may imagine. Well we are now eager to start TTC again so I'm scheduling my Tubal Reversal for the 1st week of March. Hubby is sooooo in love with this little girl so he feels that she needs a partner..lol

Mommying-Hope those little ones stay snug a little longer.Wish you the best!!! XOXOXO

Nicki- You are sooo close congrats!!! Hope you have a wonderful labor and delivery. XOXOXO

To everyone else TTC: Been there done that, stay strong and together we can keep trying until our dreams of becoming mommies come true. xoxoxo

Hey!

You girls have a very interesting conversation and I just couldn't help to comment on it...I couldn't stop laughing at your comments, true but funny!!

Mommyin10: I "think" for any surgery you might need to be, not sure, since I was and no one said anything at the hospital or anything, but I think for us girls since we need to have that thing put for your urine and I think because of the c-section being so low, maybe so....I don't know, I just wanted to add some to the conversation....and put a smile on your face! ....I will ck in later for your update on today's appt.

Dnikki: Hey you!! Peyton is almost ready to come out!! I am thinking of you hoping for a safe and healthy delivery!! I am sure you, dh and ds are very excited!! say hi to your dh from us......is it snowing there?

I wish you all a great weekend!

Mommyin10: Lol about shaving! I can hardly shave my legs anymore but the other area is a must also! I had DH look one time to make sure I didn't miss anything and he gave me the wierdest look and said why can't you look in a mirror? I told him it's not like he's never seen that before and just to flippin look lol ;-) But yes, I have now resorted to a mirror. It's got to be better than nothing at all lol!! How are you doing today? I forgot to tell you good luck at your appt! Let me know how it goes  :-) Hope you have a good day out!

kmcarino: Yes I will upload pictures :-) Mommyin10 is going to update all of you while I'm in L&D and such while I'm away from my computer  (she's so sweet!!!)! I don't think I'll make it to my next appt - at least I hope I don't!! How are you feeling?

AFM: Just doing  more cleaning - I feel like I can't get my house clean enough and I even gave my 2 dogs a bath this morning - Don't worry we have an oversized walk in shower in our master bath that also has a hand held sprayer - the shower is even equipped with an installed shower chair thanks to all my surgeries lol :-) So I just sat in the chair and scrubbed them. I didn't worry about reaching down to get their legs. I don't know what it is about my male dog, but he always seems to smell about 4-5 days after a bath. Maybe b/c he's not neutered? IDK, but they both smell better now and not like dog lol. After all my cleaning again today I'm relaxing now. My in-laws are coming over for dinner tonight which could be interesting (long story, don't feel like getting into it now...basically between my MIL and SIL)...But then they are also coiming out again tomorrow for dinner. I'm really hoping labor will start later tonight or early tomorrow!!! TMI (sorry!) but I started having almost diarrhea today - not watery or anything but just mush. I've had it twice now and I feel fine, maybe not so hungry as usual. I'm also irritable which according to my mom, the more irritable you are (very today lol) the closer you are to labor, so we shall see lol!!! But, I'm going to get some rest :-) I hope everyone has a great day and I'll check in later!!

Hugs, Love and SSBD to all :-)
