Hi, ladies. So, we had a long day of appts. We saw the nutritionist, who is totally confused as to why my blood glucose after lunch remains so high, considering they keep upping my insulin. He says it's as if I were an insulin-dependent diabetic w/out being pregnant. He wants to study my case ;) dh & I are, like, join the club! Each of our doctors has been "surprised" during my pregnany! ;-) So, it could be because I'm so inactive or because my babies each have their own placenta... They upped my dose agsin, so we'll see if it works! :) Our NST was fast, which was great. I think we were only there for 20 min! We then saw my ob & scheduled our c section! It's set for March 19 & we're so excited :) So, now we know our babies will be born in 5 weeks at the latest :) I'm still thinking the first week of March, so we'll see! Well, I've been relaxing the rest of the day. I get so tired after being out all morning.

Mommyin10 - Glad you are now in a private room! It makes such a difference. I did swell up...I can't believe the pictures of me after Jake was born. I was puffy all over!! Your milk will come over the next day or 2. It is so nice that you can hold Ricky and Ava and change them and try to feed them. That is so great. I guess you will be making a lot of trips back and forth to the hospital when you get home? How close is the hospital to your home? When Jake was in the NICU our days were just about going to visit him as much as we could. I was pumping every 2 hours because he had a feeding tube for the first few days. Will your babies get feeding tubes to be fed or will they feed them by bottle if you are not there? It will be so nice when you get them home but it's great they are getting good care. They look so small but really healthy and beautiful!!!
Oh my....Ava and Ricky are so cute!!! Congrats to you and DH again! They are precious!
Keyan: You're so right! I can hold the babies & I'm not in pain :) I'm able to hold them with their skin on mine. I changed Littke Ricky's diaper today... My first! Daddy had done one of each already. I was able to hold each baby & see if they'd breast feed. They each tried, which should stimulate me to produce. I still haven't but it's just 48 hours after they were born. I'm being patient :) I won't be released from the hospital til Monday, 4 days after my c section date. It feels like I've been here so long already. The days are so busy, they just run into each other. I moved to a private room tonight, so I should get some much-needed sleep! The other room was a nightmare with all the nurses & visitors for me & my neighbor. You're supposed to have 3 visitors at a time & she had 15 pkus a toddler... And they were loud...
Stacey: Thank you :) I didn't actually get my day off bedrest. My first day was Thursday & the babies were born first thing that morning! It's perfectly okay, though :) I'm noticing that my milk is trying to come. It's just a matter of time & I don't plan to give up :) Did you swell up after Jake was born? I can't believe my legs, feet & belly! They say it's fluid & will go away. It just looks crazy!
Sbumblebeeo: Oops! I put your appt as March 3. I'll change it tomorrow. So, you're hoping you're dilated? You'll know soon enough! :) I had low back pain Tues night after using the restroom & thought to myself that maybe that was a preterm labor sign, but brushed it off. So, I guess it was! I was so afraid I wouldn't know a sign if it jumped out and but me, so luckily your water breaking isn't something you can ignore! Haha :) I hope you're doing well & you just have another week or so on bedrest; right? 35 or 36 weeks?
Susana: Im glad you are inspired :) There are so many times we all could have given up, but I'll tell you I'm so happy I didn't! There really are no words :) Stay strong & best wishes!

Mommyin10 - Yahooooo!!!! Did you enjoy your 1 day off of bedrest?? ;) So excited for you and dh and Carmelo!!! Little Ricky and Ava already have their own personalities. So cute!! The pain from the c-section is intense but you will be surprised by how much better you feel every day. You will feel better quickly. Just take it really easy the next 6 weeks! Your milk will come in in the next day or so and when it does....wow!!! It will be huge amounts so don't worry. You will have lots very soon! There was a day where I had basically nothing (the day after Jake was born) and then by the next day it started flowing and by the following day my bbs were huge and I had to pump every 2 hours. You will have lots and lots of milk for your babies!!! I'm just so so happy for all of you!! What a journey you will start with your perfect little babies.

As for me well i had my progestrone tested and it came out as a .3 which i am pretty sure means i did not ovulate this month even with the clomid. So i am waiting to see wht the dr wants to do next. Needless to say yesterday i threw my self a pitty party and stayed home crying. But today after reading your post and everyone's post on here I gave myself a boot in the butt and lookin forward to AF and the next step.

mommyin10- Congrats I am so happy for you! So there really isn't a birth story... so did you have a section or natural? Just curious. Can't wait to see the pics of your new little ones! Good luck on pumping, it will come. It took about three days for my milk to come in... maybe four. Congrats again and I hope that you can get some rest! Remember that you can always politely turn visitors away. I learned that lesson the hard way. Had too many visitors and not enough rest and my BP skyrocketed and nurse had to kick everyone out. We didn't have any more visitors that day. lol. Take care!
mommyin10- Sorry to hear that you aren't getting much sleep. I'm glad you are trying to pump and I have high hopes that you'll get the results you are looking for soon! I can't wait to see pictures of your precious babies. Our next appointment isn't until March 4th. He said since I'm not dilated that we can go 2 weeks again. When we go back we'll have the strep B culture done and an u/s to verify that she is head down. He could tell by feeling that she has flipped but he's going to verify for sure.

Mommyin10: I can feel your excitement of being a new Mommy!! YAY!! I can't stop smiling!! I am SO happy for you!! ...sorry you are on pain, but I am sure, when you look at them it is all worth it!! Hope you have a fast recovery!! and your babies keep on gaining weight! and healthy!! Will you be going home on Saturday or Sunday?
Luvkayln: Hi! as for my plans, well my doc said that we should try on our own for 6 months and then if nothing, move on to an RE, I still have 2 more cycles to try, but we aren't so sure about the RE, I mean as of when to go, we are actually looking foward to adoption as our immediate step, the plan is to find out for sure how much $ will cost us to adopt and then use what ever $ we have left for a treatment with an RE. I do have a regular cycle having AF at 15 days past O, but I am thinking that maybe my problem is that the egg isn't being released properly and that's why the multiple + opks...hopefully if it is that, it will be an easy fix, I hope!!

Today was rough in terms of pain & feeling uncomfortable, not to
mention there's always someone coming into my room for something. Plus we had visitors. Between the babies being born and now (25 hours after their birth), I probably got 3 hrs sleep, just falling asleep for 20 min here or there. I also didn't realize how much pain I'd be in, but it's all so worth it! dh escorted grandmas & grandpas to visit the babies. Besides mommies & daddies, they only allow grandparents in the NICU & only one person at a time, escorted by dh or I. I finally got to visit them around 4:30 this afternoon & they're just so darn cute! They're little, but healthy & just so perfect!!! Yes, Leighanne, that immediate outpouring of love is definitely there :) Ricky is funny because he's so fussy. He cries & he pulls on his wires, while Ava is perfectly content. Daddy changed his first diaper today & she didn't even flinch. I've been trying to pump so
they can feed them in the NICU, but so far, nothing. I've tried 3 times now & will keep trying every 3 hours. I know I'll celebrate seeing that first drop! :) I'm going to ask dh to bring our laptop with him on Friday so I can upload pictures. I can't wait to share :) Thanks again, ladies!

I hadn't shaved down there in a week & I had felt sick, so was literally sleeping all day. Not at all what I expected, but you just have to go with the flow :) When's your next appt?

Nino7: I didn't have any pregnancy symptoms til after my +hpt & beta. That's when I started getting what I referred to as "brick bbs". I literally had to hold them up as I got up out of bed. Hang in there! You're just about to your 1WW :)

OMG!! that was a surprise birthday!! their birth is good...Ava just needs to add a little more to catch on to her brother Richard, BTW I like the names!! is it true that once you meet them, you are sure about their names?!! I read that when a lady conceives, she gets some symptoms. I don’t have sore breast, no spotting, and not others. The only thing I feel is the cramps that comes after taking clomid. Even though, I hope I get pregnant this month.

Mommyin10- Yayyy, Congratulations!! :) OMG, your post totally shocked me! I wasn't expecting to see that. What an awesome blessing! I'm so thankful that you and babies are doing great!! 3-4 weeks isn't too bad! I know we all wish they could come home in a few days with you, but at least they'll be in safe hands! :) They're weight is awesome! Good job mommy!! :) Give those little cuties love from us all! :)

Sbumblebeeo- I know, I understand! I was very lucky that we had an induction date and knew when we'd be delivering. That definately took a lot of the guess work and worry out of when it would happen! Your dreams aren't stupid, that's totally normal to have that fear! :) Either way, I know everything will be fine and you'll do great however you deliver! :) About the meds, maybe just call and talk to your doctor about it before you go off of them. I know it's only a little early that you're wanting to stop, and I understand your point that you'd be paying for the whole prescription when you only need it for 5 days. Too bad they can't just prescribe the exact dose you need and give you a price cut! :)

OMG! I was waiting to hear from you. Who knew how busy you really were!!!! Just a quick update & I'll read your posts later... Surprise!!! My water broke at 8:45 last night. My contractions did start til I was in a hospital bed around 9:30 & they were really strong & close together. We went in the operating room around 11:30 & at 12:15 a.m., Richard Clay, III (Ricky) was born! He was 4 lbs, 5 oz, 17.25 inches long, followed by his sister Ava Kathleen at 12:16. She weighed 3 lbs, 14 oz, 16 inches long. They're in the NICU & will be for 3-4 weeks, but they're doing great :) I'll try to post pics!

OMGosh lol!! I finally have a little bit of time to post :-) I do try to check in everyday and see how everyone is doing, just a little busy to post sorry!! Please know that I'm thinking of all of you and sending SSBD to you, and praying that S and Mommy keep their babies in a little while longer!! You guys are almost there!!! Woo-Hoo!!
Peyton had her weight check on Tuesday... Monday the 8th she was 6lbs 1oz and Tuesday the 16th she weighed 6lbs 12oz!!! The ped is very happy lol :-) The only thing is, is that I'm not making enough milk to keep up with her - she drinks 3oz bottles now so basically I'm just pumping when I can and supplement with formula. But she's growing fast lol!! We get up with her twice a night, usually at 130 then at 430-500 which is good. DH gets up at the second feeding and that makes it really nice!!! DS just kind of ignores her lol...He wants to hold her when we are doing something with her (feeding, burping, changing...). But I think he's realized she's not going anywhere lol! But we are doing very well, just trying to get enough rest!!! I'll try to check in later and I'll post again when I can!! Have a great day ladies!!!

Luvkayln- The medicine is to help stop the uterus from contracting b/c for the last month I have been cramping really bad and they said that is what it was from. Mommyin10 is on the same thing. I didn't really ask if I could stop it a little early but I don't see the point in paying for it for 5 days. I don't know, maybe I should just pay for it but it's not cheap and we could use that to buy something else I'm sure she needs. I doubt it's going to make a huge difference since I'm not dilated at all yet but he said that my cervix is really thin and a month ago I was already 50% effaced. He didn't give me a number today just said it was VERY thin so I'm sure that % has gone way up. I should begin to dilate any day now. I'll be anxious to see him again in two weeks. We are having an u/s to verify she is in fact head down b/c he just said she was by feeling my belly but he said she is way down so... I don't know what that means either!!! I hate this. I don't know anything and I am such a planner. This is hard. I'm not good with surprises. I wish they would just give me an enduction date so I would know and could sleep at night. I know its dumb but I dream all night that my water breaks in my sleep and I don't wake up and by the time I realize it we don't make it to the hospital. Like the pain won't wake me up!? LOL. The nightmares I have are soooo rediculous.

I took Clomid days 3-7 and started the OPK pkg and actually went thru them all but not once did i see the surge line turn dark. I had all the symptoms of ovulation but nada but we did BD just in case so we shall see. I went yesterday to get testedt o see if i ovulated but i guess thy did the wrong tests. I was suppose to be tested for progestrone and was instead tested for FSH, TSH, Estrdial and Prolactin and they said it came back normal. so we shall see tommorow wht the other tests says.
