Clomid round #2 and weird CM?

Hi ladies,

I'm on round #2 of Clomid and got my positive OPK yesterday. Weirdly, I've noticed that while on Clomid my CM doesn't get the stretchy EWCM it used to without it. This time, it was just watery and milky colored. I've been taking Robitussin, so could that be affecting the CM? Does anyone know if this is a bad sign for me being on Clomid?

Thanks.

Yes, lack of mucus makes it very difficult for them to travel. The lubrication we produce when aroused is not the same.   Pre-seed does help w/ the transport. I myself got preggers when I decided to use pre-seed.

Hmm. So you're thinking the lack of EW does point to hostile mucus? That's what I was worried about. We have tried Pre-Seed several times, but I thought I read that it doesn't help with sperm transport, only gives lubrication that won't interfere. Is that wrong? I'm not needing lubrication during bd-ing, just worried that no EW = no safe travels for the little guys.

I hadn't heard of taking estrogen. Will have to think about that with the doc. Thank you!

One of the side effects of clomid is causing a "hostile" change in cervical mucus. It often does not allow the production of EWCM and the sperm have a harder time. I highly recommend pre-seed it works great and gives the swimmers a nice safe enviornment to get the job done.

My doctor also prescribed estrogen to take at cycle day 8-12 to help with cervical mucus.
