gonal f cycle failed

not preggers this month.
after my first cycle of gonal f, hcg trigger, iui and progesterone supppositories....no luck this month.
what a brutal experience. i had ovarian hypestimulation and all the symptoms that tag along with progesterone suppositories.  
doc told me i had ovulated 7 mature follicles.  also did 2 IUI after hcg trigger.
LH and e2 levels were bordering low. could this be why i am not preggers this month?
does anyone know why this cycle was not successful?
next month my doc recommends luveris (to increase LH levels).

i also had cysts as well following my first cycle thus having to skip one month of treatment.  i did not ask my doc for exact e2 and lh levels during my first cycle but they were quiet "low" and "not rising".  
i just completed my first iui today following the hcg trigger yesterday and my blood shows e2 levels over 4000 and lh at 1.5
how are things developing with your cycles this month?

In Feb I went through the gonal-f injections with IUI and IT failed too. My e2s were 1050 They said it looked good. I think there timing was off. I had 4 good size eggs and i BD as well and nothing. Well I started AF march 14th. Well ovulation was way off by five days. But I went back on day three and they did a sono and found the four cyst and said I had to skip this cycle . So I asked if I could do just an IUI natural and my RE said don't waist your time. I was like what !!!!! You just got 3000 from me and it wasn't a waist. I was so mad. I have alot of people around me that have tried iui and everyone of them were negative. Some people are lucky but most aren't.

hello ingii i am so sorry to hear that it failed for you i dont reall know much about lh levels , i had my iui done on the 23rd march with only 2 follicles but when i was on the gonale f my re told me to decrease my does as my e2 levels was in the thousands so i had a u/s and they found i had a heap of small follicles on the right and just 2 bigs one on the left and that was the reason for high e2 levels but 7 mature ones is a great number to have im a bit suprised they went ahead with it as mine only go ahead if there is less than 3 follicles so u r lucky to have a good doc ..just curious did they tell you what your progesgeterone levels were ? take care and best of luck for next month
