I'd say out of all of the birth controls out there, choose something non hormonal. If you must choose a hormonal option, do the pills.  The one I wouldn't suggest is getting a depo shot. The depo has a large history of complicating ttc. With the depo it takes sometimes up to a year to have regular periods again with ovulation making it very difficult to conceive

I wouldn't suggest an IUD because they can cause worst problems then the pill and they may not give it to you because you don't have any kids yet. I was looking into that instead of the pill before I got married she said I was a good candidate, but because I didn't have kids she wouldn't give it to me. I would do the pill option because it's easier to stop taken it if you have a reaction and there are more options then an IUD. Hope this helped

Thanks for the wishes aand advice. ..My spouse doesn't wish to use a condom. ..n although my periods are more or less regular,  I do have doubts regarding the safe day method. .Should I opt for an IUD or can I safely choose oral contraceptives?? Even I have heard of the side effects of pills like weight gain and also that they cause fertility issues in the long run..I am still confused regarding these options. .Please guide me

Shall I ask you that is your periods regular? If so u can use this app and with little help from your husband you can avoid popping pills. Its my personal experience. Process is simple you can avoid intercourse on "fertile window" or use withdrawal method. Rest of the non fertile and non period days you can enjoy! We have been married happily since seven years and Ive conceived only after Two years of happy married life. I was 26 back then. All you need is trust among you and your husband. Bottomline try to avoid pills for such long duration as it impacts your health especially weightgain. Congrats and wish u a happy married life in advance ~Mani
