Copper IUD removal and no period?

I had my copper IUD removed over a month ago (the day after my period started).  I am now 5 days late which is *very* unusual for me.  My husband and I have used a condom every time we've been together, and I have had negative pregnancy tests, so I can't imagine that I'm pregnant.  Anyone else have this happen?  What was the end result?

I've heard others having similar problems after removing IUDs. From what I've heard, it can take a couple of months for your cycles to regulate again. Hopefully it'll happen soon!
