Cramping 7&8 days after 5-day transfer
So I have been having dull cramps all morning (and had a bit yesterday too). Is it at all possible that this ISN'T a sign of AF coming??? I am worried that it's too late to be anything but that. :(
I haven't tested at all because I am too afraid to face it! I have my blood test on Friday -- 2 and a half very long days from now.
I may have to test tomorrow morning. Because maybe even if it's negative that is better than feeling so panicked.

WELL I THINK I FORGOT TO MENTION THAT ON " AUG 12" MY DOC GAVE ME A SHOT OF HCG AND PROGESTERONE, SO, ON MONDAY AUG 15 JUST 3 DAYS LATER AFTER I GOT THE HCG SHOT I GOT MY BETA BACK WITH 1241 , SO THAT IS WHY I SAID MAYBE IS A FALSE POSITIVE :( I WENT TODAY AUG 16 TO THE CLINIC AND THE DOC SAID THAT I WAS RIGHT IT IS VERY POSSIBLE TO GET A FALSE POSITIVE AFTER A HCG SHOT BUT " NOT SUCH HIGH NUMBERS " I GOT AN ULTRASOUND DONE AND HE SAYS MY UTERUS IS NOT EMPTY :) THAT HE SEES SOMETHING THERE BUT THE FACT THAT I AM PASSING CLOTS AND BLEEDING JUST LIKE MY REGULAR PERIOD MAKES IT UNSTABLE.
HE ASKED ME TO GO BACK THURSDAY 18TH TO HAVE MY BETA AGAIN, I AM CROSSING MY FINGERS AND TOES HERE :-S

I think the only thing that can give you high HCG is a trigger shot (because it is HCG). I'd be surprised if that was still this high just because of your trigger shot ... so I would take the positive as a very good sign! Try not to read all the worst case scenarios, I think they just needlessly worry you. For every bad story I am sure there are several good stories. In fact, I saw on a thread a few days ago that a friend of one of the ladies didn't know she was pregnant until quite far into her pregnancy because she kept bleeding every month! I am sure that is unusual, but I think it would be just as unusual for you to have a + blood test, with numbers that high, and have it be from a shot you had 2 weeks ago (if I got my math right)!

AM 24 and its my first IVF, had to wait 5 months for me to be ET ready, first it was High LH then PCOS, OHSS etc etc now i have 24 eggs and 18 Excellent Embryos,12 Blastocysts Frozen ,Got my first FET done on 08/08 and my Beta is on 19/08....
I absolutely have no symptoms what so ever and moreso my day 4 Progesterone was 12 however since then i am on Shots its now around 45 am worried if low progesterone on day2 and day3 post transfer would have affected implantation...am getting tensed and worried...Hearty congratulations to all you Happy Moms and Moms TO-BE , lots of Baby Dust to you all

I AM TRYING SUPER HARD TO IGNORE THE BLEEDING BUT IT'S WAY TOO HARD, I KEEP TELLING MY SELF THAT I COULD BE ONE OF THE LUCKY ONES WHO BLEED AND YET REMAIN OR GET PREGNANT .
TODAY IS SUNDAY 14 AUG HERE I AM ON DAY 9TH AFTER MY ET AND 3 DAY BLEEDING :,( NOW I HAVE TO CHANGE MY PAD BECAUSE THE BLOOD IS HEAVY AND RED I SEE SOME CLOTS AND OBVIOUSLY THINKING THE WORST ,TOMORROW I WILL GO TO THE CLINIC THEY WILL CHECK MY BLOOD AND SEE WHAT THE NEWS FOR ME ARE, Y THINK I KNOW WHAT THE ANSWER MAY BE :( BUT I HAVE TO DO IT . I HAVE 2 MEDIUM QUALITY EMBRYOS STORED I HAVE ASKED THE DOC IF THIS CYCLE FAILS IF WE COULD TRY ONE MORE TIME THIS COMING MONTH , HE SAY IS TRADITION TO WAIT FOR 1 MONTH AND THEN TRY BUT CONSIDERING I AM HERE IN PAKISTAN, NO FAMILY, NO NOTHING WE WILL SEE WHAT WE CAN DO :(.

Absolutely. my doctor even said that sometimes the procedure itself can cause spotting, so that could also be a factor.

Like sarbear said to me above, I think it's far too early for you to be having AF cramps. So take a deep breath. Also, I definitely had cramps that almost felt like I was getting AF (as you can see by my freaking-out post above;-)), so I know how scary that is. On the plus side, I can tell you for me that I still got a BFP after that and two very strong betas.
Did you have a 3-day or 5-day transfer? If you had a 3-day, you'll be a couple of days behind the day-by-day progress on the chart above. Which would put you right around implantation ... which I am sure you've read/heard can cause cramping.
Try to relax and thinking posi+ive -- it is quite possibly a very GOOD sign. :)

it was 614. yay! so I go back in again on Monday to make sure it has at least doubled. I feel really positive this time. It just seems like it's happening, without any big fuss -- ha! how funny is that? after 4 different meds, ICSI, IVF, etc etc and I feel like it was "no fuss." crazy.

We have 8 frozen embryos. they retreieved 11..10 fertilized, and we used 2.
This time arund we will only transfer 1. I really don't want to have another set of twins! But if for some reason the embryo split...at least. Know I could handle twins! Haha

I transferred only one, but the doctor told me it was "perfect" ... so fingers crossed that s/he sticks! I go in tomorrow morning for my beta... and they say they SHOULD have the results to me by the end of day. SHOULD?! are you kidding me?! they better!!!! :)
