Hi ,i am currently battling that right now. I only took two shots(6 months) and it has been a year nd I haven't  been ovulating. This shot is horrible!  I as 135 and within 2months i gained so mich weight.  From 135-199 in 2months. After i got off the shot i had my period but then they began to come off and on. I went to my doctor and she prescribed me Progesterone.  I got my periods back but I didn't wanna take medication no more. I was sick and tierd of all thoes heart breaking moments when o thought i was pergo or ovulating and i wasn't.  It's hard on a couple when they can't have kids especially when it's the woman's fault.  You just get so depressed and sad. But you know what i climbed over that mountain.  I layed all the worries,  cares, fears and the LORD feet. He is a HEALER.  He is an awesome God! And when i finally decided to trust in him everything started to fall in place. My periods,  my relationship and my overall health. I have been losing weight and feeling great. This is my testimony.  Don't give up on God cuz he won't give up on you. He's ABLE!

So I get really dizzy from the depo and light headed and I lose weight. This is my first time. August will be the next time I get the shot but I'm not going to, because how its making me feel but after the months are up should I be fine after?

Im in the same boat.  I was on depo for 13 years. Have been trying since November 2013 . I use ovulation prediction kits and have only got a positive twice. Both times no result. I am going to make an appointment with my doctor next month if I don't get a positive read to see what steps to take next.  Good luck to you

Depends on the person really. I was on the depo 12 years ago and I'm having a difficult time conceiving now also but my sister in law missed one shot and she is now pregnant. I think when we try to actually get pregnant on purpose we stress ourselves out a little more and that might be why we aren't getting pregnant. Seems like everyone who isn't trying actually gets pregnant.  I wish you the best of luck.

It take a long time for the Depo meds to get out of your system. Sometimes as long as a year depending on how long your on it.
