I have heard - avoid "white" carbs and eat whole grains. Lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, water, and green tea. That is what I am trying to do. I will say that I have been eating whole grains and fresh fruits and veggies for a week and already feel so much better!
My acupuncturist gave me a handout about fertility diet. It said to lower the saturated fat that you consume, but consume "good fats". And also to eat less animal protein but eat higher amounts of natural protein like nuts, legumes, beans. . . etc. He said also avoid caffeine and drink lots of water (room temp not ice). It said eats good fish for the fat and oil in them. I have heard of the L Arginine, but I think i made my husband take it for his sperm (they were great but just wanted to do everything to help them.) I had not heard of it working for women, but if it does great!
Don't know if this helps. Good luck!!
I haven't heard anything about it, but am getting ready for my first IVF cycle. I would be interested in learning more
anyone anyone?!? Just want to hear a response if anyone has done a fertility diet:)
P.S. My doc and everything that I read that it may improve egg quality (which seems to be my issue).
I'm also going to take L Arginine this time around..anyone try that?!?
