one child age 4. now cannot conceive

I am 36 years old with one child aged 4 in May. Been trying to conceive for 13 months. Believe I ovulate on day 17/18 (ovulatory pain) with cycles 27/28 days. Husbands sperm is fine (I am embryologist).  FSH day 1-4 is between 3 & 6. why can I not conceive????? First child born by forceps, could any damage have been done with this procedure?

Try Clomid 100mg day 1-5 to make you ovulate earlier and lenthen your luteal phase.  That's what my doctor recommended.

I do not know if forceps could cause damage. If you ovulate that late with such a short cycle it is very possible that your luteal phase is not long enough for a fertilized egg to implant. Google "Short luteal phase" and see what comes up. Then see your doctor about possibilities to fix that issue, if that is indeed the issue!
