Clomid Again
I was on BC for 16 years. TTC for 14 months, 1st round of clomid 50mg showed Progesterone at 5.6 and no ovulation. I am on 2nd round of Clomid 100mg and our BD days are 14, 16, 18, 20 and then blood test on the 22nd. I am starting an OPK today. My cycles are an average of 39 days and I am not convinced that I ovulate anywhere near the 14 day mark (if I ovulate at all).
How can I be sure that my BD days are actually in line with my Clomid schedule (that the Dr gave me). I am following his instructions. Help :)

Results are in Progesterone was a 22.3 !! 2nd round of Clomid got me to Ovulate and now i wait for my BFP or AF one of the two. I am overjoyed that we know the formula to get me to ovulate so even if its BFN this cycle I am still very happy!!!
Today is 11DPO, CD29 no signs of AF so far. I am STILL waiting for the phone to ring on my Progesterone blood draw. HPT was BFN last night. I am still hopeful. My cycles are normally 32 days so I will be officially "late" right around the New Year Holiday. When do you think I should test again???????
Just had the blood drawn for Progesterone, today is 9DPO so I hope the results are good news, now I wait a couple of days to find out..... What am I hoping to hear???? What would indicate good news??
Ok, Doc called me, they are postponing Progesterone test until the 27th, thank you BeeHappy, I wouldn't have thought about it, I really appreciate it!
I just called my Dr office to see if my CD22 Blood test is too early since I think i O'd on the 18th and they said no. Is there anyone who is in the same boat and has to test progesterone on 4DPO??
It seems early and it costs me $150 each time for lab costs. Will the progesterone be spiked that early after Oing?

Hi,
Sperm can live inside you for up to like 7 days! I think you have it covered, but just remember there is only a 25% chance of conceiving every month so if you don't end up preg don't blame the missed day!

So let me get this straight, please help.... I want to make sure i really gave it a fair "shot". I got a strong positive OPK at 4:00 am on Saturday12/18 we BD on Friday Night the 17th, then again on 12/18 skipped 12/19 (hubby needed a break) and were planning on BD today. I am crazy and think since we didnt BD on Sunday the 19th that we missed the golden opportunity. Am I crazy (probably)

Good luck! It sounds like you covered your bases whether you ov'ed on cd11 or 18. Make sure to mention to your doctor that opk was pos on CD18. That may change the schedule for the blood work. Usually they want to do a progesterone test 7 days after ovulation and beta 14 days after.
To make things even more cinfusing I got a very strong positive on my OPK today, Cycle Day 18, I think the one on CD11 was false, it wasnt a very strong positive, toda's is really strong. BD lastnight and today and tomorrow, then blood test on the 22nd. Fingers Crossed.
My Dr. Did 50mg days 3-7 and then 150 mg days 3-7 again, he told me to start trying December 14,16,18,20 and blood test on the 22nd, My AF came on December 1st which made it really easy to track this month. Well guess what! I started the OPK's yesterday (cycle day 10) and today I got a SMILEY FACE! I would have missed the golden opportunity if i followed his instructions. I think 10-20 every other day is probably a good idea! I hope that the OPK was accurate, I am overjoyed at the thought of ovulating but I cant help but be a little reserved because everything so far has been a negative. I really hope we get lucky this month. Do you think that if he blood tests me on CD22 that will be too late to confirm ovulation?
what cycle day are you on and what cycle days did your doc want you to take clomid.
My doc said cycle day 5-9 take clomid and BD cycle day 10-20 every other day!
You should start your OPK's on cycle day 10 or 11...I usually go till Cycle day 20
I havent had a positive opk yet but I am hoping I will this month on a higher dose of clomid!
