Does ovulation occur on one side at a time and the other in next month?

In March my scan showed one immature follicle of 10.5 in right side. After medication this time on D13 , again an immature one on left , 13.9.  As I have heard ovulation happens one side this mth and other in next.  in D12 , I had a little cramping on my right which I guessed as ovulation. But scan shows smth else. I am confused.

No that is not how it works. I normally ovulate/release an egg from my left s shown from testing and I can feel it. Once in a blue moon I ovulate on my right. I guess my left is my good side, Lol. Good luck

I do believe it is supposed to alternate back and forth.  But I guess it is not an exact science and your scans are a better indicator.  If you are taking medication to encourage eggs, then I would also think that would interfere with a natural pattern.  What does your doctor say?  I'm sure it is hard to figure it all out.  Sometimes taking one step back and just trusting helps a little with the anxiety.  Hang in there!
