Does the public try to shame you for trying to concieve past a certain age?

How do you feel about this?  Does the public make you feel self conscious about wanting a baby past a certain age?  How do you handle that?  Do you think science has greatly aided things or made them wonky with women having babies at such older ages?  What are your thoughts?  This is just for discussion.  No right or wrong answer to it.

I'm not a young mom.  I was into my career and then started trying and it took awhile.  I do feel a bit of shoddy treatment occasionally because I wasn't super young.  Anyone else?
