Don't know what to think. + and then - frer

I posted this yesterday (saturday) in another forum and looking for some guidance!!!
From saturday:
I took a nap this afternoon b/c i didn't sleep last night and had to work at 5 am. I dreamed that I took a pregnancy test and had 2 lines and was telling husband I had to go buy another test.
Woke up b/c DH called and told him about the dream while laughing. I thought I dreamed it b/c I had just bought a FRER and it was a dud and had another one to take.
I took the 2nd test after nap and within 1 minute a faint line showed up. There is no mistaking this line...im not seeing things, even though its faint. I'm freaking out, b/c i don't know what to beleive. The first test was a dud and diddn't do anything and the 2nd test came from the same pack so could it be wrong?
I just bought more tests and am waiting to have to pee to test again and then will test again tomorrow. I'm worried about getting excited for nothing and about freaking out for nothing.....help!

Sunday:
Just want to add that I took a 3rd FRER at 7 pm Saturday(after the 1st faint positive) and the faint line was there but was more faint. Then took another FRER and CBE digital w/fmu and both were negative. I used a cup and dipped them but this should have produced MORE reliable results if you ask me.
SO i don't know what to think. I can't afford to keep buying tests and i know i need to make a doc appt and i will....i just hate being patient and wanted to hear some feedback from those who may have experience with this issue.

i agree with the early miscarriage thing...i just don't understand b/c i'm not due for AF until around 7/10 and this positive was on 6/28....waaayyy early. I don't know how such an early m/c could happen and if it did, wouldn't i be experiencing bleeding?
i'm trying to get an appt w/a doc today. ugh...i dunno!

Sometimes those faint positives that later turn to negatives are early miscarriages.  Anything with an HCG over 5 is a pregnancy.  The doctors usually just don't confirm until its over 25 because of the risk of early miscarriage.  Many of us have had those.  Hopefully your little bean will stick.  Best of luck.

cool. i'll ask for that. I'm pretty sure after all day having - tests that something weird was just up yesterday but i'm gonna get a blood test just to make sure.

yes as long as you go in as early as possible, they can run stat testing.

since my doctor is a fertility doctor, they have my hcg level results back to me within 2 hours, but my OB/GYN does have the stat option and it comes back by the end of the day.

honey just relax.  have your beta level drawn tomorrow and see what it is.  maybe they can put it in stat so you can have the results tomorrow.

I just took an accu-clear (target) brand and i'm even more confused.
Immediately the control line came up dark and the test line immediately started to stand out from the background color. when i say immediately, i mean, as in when the urine made its way across the screen.
The whiteish line that popped up in the test area is still there...it never changed colors to red! WTF???

IT shouldn't be an evap line b/c it arrived too quickly, but it isn't a red or pink line either! UGH!

A couple of months ago the same thing happened to me : I took CBE digitals and the first said "PREGNANT"!!! (Was a Saturday)  I  was soooo happy! So, later that afternoon I took another (from the same pack, same kind...) and the words "NOT PREGNANT" showed up. So me being a POAS aholic I went and bought more and got 2 more negatives. I had a beta drawn on a Monday and it was inconclusive - they didn't want to tell me that yes I was indeed pregnant, but they didn't want to tell me it was negative either (my beta was 11 I believe). Well, my beta kept going down so I had an early m/c.... I really don't want to get you down about it, but there is always that possiblity. Nothing prepared me for that news....
