Being a newbie on this board, is there somewhere that I can go to see what all the abbreviations used on here means.  I guess coz I am at the beginning stages of figuring out what is wrong with me not getting pregnant and all, I am trying to read up about everything on here but because there are so many abbreviation sometimes I cannot make head or tail of what the post is saying ... don't laugh :-)

DPO = Days past Ovulation
CD= Cycle Day
O= Ovulation
HCG= a type of test using dye to see inside the uterus and tubes
bb's=breasts
OC/BC= Birth Control
HPT=Home Pregnancy Test
OPK=Ovulation Predictor Kit
FRER= First Response Early Response Pregnancy Test

I am sorry I tired to post the list here but it has some code in it that doesn't allow me to do that, so for those that were as lost as I was, go take a look at this site http://twoweekwait.com/ it definitely helps some.

Isn't HCG the hormone test to see if you are pg.  I thought the dye test for your tubes was HSG?

LOL,  yeah I typed that wrong

HCG= Human Chorionic Gonadotrophin (pregnancy test hormone)

the dye test is HSG

What question did you ask?  If you post in the forum then the answers will just automatically appear below your quesiton...  sometimes though no one will answer if we dont know.

Thank you for not laughing and I am going to go take a look at the site to see what I can print out on there to keep track on here.  I guess I need to get on top of it so I know what y'all are talking about.

And yeah I think it is HSG, that's the test I had done yesterday and am actually still sore today, but it feel like my kidneys are sore which is weird.

Man it is not fair that my hubby got to go have fun in his little pleasure room while I need to go through all this ... definitely not fair !!!
