Egg freezing (not embryo)

Has anyone done this?  I am planning on doing this next cycle and wanted to discuss with anyone who went through it.

If you are young and you want to do this to start a family later on, like in your late 30s or early 40s, it's a wise thing for you to do.

However, now that the defrost process isn't that great.  I have read on the internet that only approximately 1/2 of the eggs with survive the defrost stage.    So hopefully you will get lots of eggs.  Also just do this if your are under 30, your egg quality just decreases significantly after this.
