Egg viability: genetic testing necessary?
Am 43 y.o., have 2 kids, normal pregnancies. Want to have another child. Someone suggested genetic testing for egg viability. Necessary or strongly suggested? VERY healthy, active, no known genetic problems/diseases. Pregnant first time around each time tried. Easy pregnancies & births, no problems. Many friends/people seem to be having 'normal' pregnancies at this age w/out testing.
I am just curious if thing worked out for you, Jen7900. I just experienced similar results at age 31 with PGD.
My RE told me that at my age (40) 80% of all of my eggs have chromosomal problems. That is strictly due to age. I can't seem to find any of those 20% after years of trying.
