wow I am so sorry
yep twins
a signleton
and?
thanks for your words...i was pretty much prepared for it, but it still was so very, very disappointing. My hcg levels had been so crazy, level off, then jump up...we had seen a sac (6 and 7 wks), but didn't see a h/b. Our doc thought the baby made it to about 6 wks before it stopped developing, then I chose to m/c on my own, which didn't happen until 9 wks, then I ended up needed a hysteroscopy anyway (would def do a d&c if it happens again) hopefully one of our little frozen embies will pull though on our transfer this month!!
And you? Twins and ?
andykk
sorry about your 9 week miscarriage
did you see a heartbeat before that?
I did a FET in November and got +, but m/c at 9 wks...which the docs assured me was due to genetics and nothing to do w/ the FET due to the fact that the pg lasted that long. We did a successful IVF and had a baby in 3/06 and had 5 frozen embies and 3 frozen blasts. From the 5 frozen embies we had to defrost all five to get one that did make it to blastocycst stage (our clinic goes to blasts on FET). The FET went very smoothly and much easier than a fresh cycle. My protocol was b/c pills until we set up our timeline. Then two shots a week of estrace to build up my lining, that followed by u/s and b/d to ck on that. Also daily, baby aspirin and prenatal. Then the week before scheduled transfer I started medrol and doxy and progesterone shots (double the dose of a fresh cycle due to body not producing follicles and wanting to prep body for pregnancy) this was the worst of the cycle, the progesterone shots. Then day of transfer, add on a prog suppository at nite. Bedrest the day of transfer and next day, then an 8 and 10 day hsg test for pg (our clinic does the two day b/d so as to compare levels of the days) if positive, continue the shots/suppos until 9 wks (which is when you "graduate" from the clinic to your ob/gyn) I am currently in the middle of another cycle due to the m/c and having the 3 fozen blasts that we wanted to use. We will transfer (if the luvies make it) on the 24th. Our clinic doesn't have a great success rate w/ frozen blastocysts, but I want to make sure we use all of our frozen embies. FET are much easier on your body, but it is hard on the embies freezing/defrosting. Check w/ your clinic for success rates. AND good luck to you!!
sorry one more thing
some point they suggested I add vaginal estrogen during the lining thickeing part so I do
you want all my stories
1st thaw - all survived - only put 2 in - I was mad - not preggo
2nd thaw - all - I argued them to three - got pg miscarried
(protocol - estrogen before medrol righhhht before prog and est after)
next round new embies
wanted 4 in only 3 survived put back no preg
1st thaw - 1 in 4 survived - we wanted 4 in so they rethawed 4 more on and only 1 of those thawed - so we only put back 2 - both worked delivered healthy twins
protocol - lupron before then estrogen prog and estr after (doxycyline day of)
next round - 2 thawed - both survived
got preggo - chem pregnancy
protocol - lupron - medrol - prog and estrog after
next round thawed seven five were beautiful - more later on that
best of luck
I don't have personal experience with it, butI have heard of people getting their BFP"S this way!! I hope this will do the trick for you! good luck! : )
