Failed in vitro

Hi,
I went through in Vitro last week and the dr was only able to get two eggs.  One did not fertilize and the other failed genetic testing.  I keep hearing about all of eggs that people get during their in vitroHi and I had such a low number.  My dr tells me it's normal for a woman my age 40 but I read on these websites people have gotten several more.   I'm just wondering if anyone has gone through the same thing and had success later.

Have you tried accupunture? its helps with a lot of things associated with infertility/ pregnancy. I did for 3 months before my FET and conceived and delivered healthy twins at 38wks.

Anyone going through this knows how emotionally and physically draining this can be.  My first IVF was a bust as well as my second attempt.  I then turned to donar eggs which worked for me.  Don't give up ladies, stay strong.

I'm sorry to hear that.  I know how hard one failed attempt has been for me.  I hope things work out for you on your third try.

i'am 26 years old  never had gotten pregnant had 2 failed ivf's and going into my 3rd next month each cycle is different every women is different ... as for me i have no issues just pcos my first ivf out of the 7 eggs only 2 fertilized didnt work 2nd out of the 11 10 fertilized transfered 2 the rest died did not make it to freeze

For most of the women, first cycle of IVF fails, and this is like trail and error. This might help your doctor to make changes in your next cycle in terms of giving meds or shots. Hope your next attempt will work.
