False Positive?

I took an at home pregnancy test this morning at around 11am. I got a very faint positive. I took another later on around 1pm and I got a negative. What are the odds of a false positive? I'm nervous now. I'm having no symptoms of my period coming. I'm expecting it in three days. I'm having early pregnancy symptoms but don't want to trick myself into thinking I am.  Please.... any input?

You cannot get a false positive on an hpt.  You have to have hcg in your system.  But, you can get a false negative if your urine is too diluted.  I suggest holding your pee for 6 hrs or so then retest, or doing a test with first morning urine.
Good luck!!!
