Fibroids and infertility?

I did a ultra sound on Friday, December 23, 2011, and I was told that I have two (2) small fibroids on the outside of my uterus/womb. What are the causes of this? Do they always get better or they would sometimes go away without having to be treated? Have any of you women experience this before, and what was done to resolve this? I am 25 yr old who have been trying to get pregnant over the past few years with no luck, even though I did tests(HSG, long list of hormones and thyroid test, and progesterone test) that came back fine. How will these fibroids affect my chance of having a child, and what dietary steps can I take to combat them?

i have not taken the results to my doc as yet. I did other test, full range of harmones and tyroid test, HSG, progesterone and everything was normal.

Lots of women get pregnant with fibroids-it just depends on how many you have, how big they are and if they're 'intramural" (inside the uterus)... yours dont seem big enough to interfere with anything. What does your gyn say and are you seeing a reproductive endocrinologist to rule out any other problems?

Hey girl
I heard that castor oil packs shrink fibroids
what you need is cold pressed castor oil
100% dye free cotton or wool flannel
a heating pad
cloth
soak the the cold pressed oil onto the cotton or flannel
heat it until warmed
place on abdomen for 1hour every day for a few months
use cloth and heating pad
you can also google it
also take myomin as it redues estrogen in the body

God bless you

hi there,

Fibroids outside uterus never interfere with your fertility or conception. fibroids in side uterus are to be worried of. so dont worry. good that HSG came out normal too. its really so very commong having fibroids now a days due to whatsoever reasons. all i mean to say, no worries. you can very well have a child without problem.

i do have fibroids outside.
