Well, I am going for my final egg replacement on March 16th, went to the doctor yesterday, she is increasing my estrogen tomorrow from 2 a day to 3 a day, and I start and continue the Crinoine. Now we are praying that my final 3 eggs survive the thaw, only need one right? My hubby is in the US now training for his new job, in Minnesota. So I am going through this alone, we have told NO ONE that we are even trying again, only him and I know!!  Send me lots of prayers and babydust girls!!  And best of best luck to all of you!!

I am soooo sorry to hear your story!  It is so Da*n frusterating when you know how your body works, and Doctors won't listen!
I also had a FET  July 09 (my very first attemp at this) and miscarried at 8-9 weeks.  I had to have an equavialnt of a d&c afterwards, so had to wait until Feb '10 for my uterus to "recover" to do another FET.  We received a BFN yesterday, but are considering jumping right back into it after I cycle next week.  It sounds like that's what your doing too?  I just thought I would send you a quick note to say "GOOD LUCK"
Tons and Tons of Baby Dust to you!  AND STICKY STICKY BABIES!!!! Please keep in touch!

Hi Dorti,
Just wanted to check in to see how you are doing? I am starting my last fet cycle this month, I just spoke to another doctor at my clinic and she is going to allow me to continue my Crinoine and Femenest (estrogen) until at least my 12th week, if I am blessed to get pregnant again!!  So i feel alot better about this cycle this time around! I start my estrogen tonight, and go for an ultrasound on the 11th of this month to see if my uterine lining is thick enough and then transfer on the 15th, provided that my eggs survive the thaw.  Anyway, just wanted to keep you posted and see how you and your little ones are doing!  Take care!

very sorry. and i think feeling that your instincts were not addressed is a double ache. even when they are doing what is best, they sometimes feel offended that they have to explain it to anyone. and that only makes us feel stupid AND ignored. hang in there.

hey
I know that miscarriages happen no matter what sometimes, but for my doctor not to even monitor my levels at all is not acceptable to me, if they did and I need supplements and still miscarried then fine at least they had a baseline to make an informed decesion whether or not i needed more,  The embryos they replaced they told me could not get any better than they were.  I needed progestrone with my daughter.  We are just hoping and praying that the last 3 we have survive and then everything goes smoothly.,.we are now talking vasectomy reversal.....but time is not on our side, we are  both turning 39 this year, so I guess only time will tell..

Thanks for your post .-)

I got MC around 5-6 weeks even I'm on progesterone, baby aspirin, and estrogen.  Sometimes, it's just egg abnormal.  It implanted but stop growing and no one could stop it in this case.  So checking progresterone level to give us a peace of mind to make sure the lining is thick enough and we got MC not because of short of progesterone.  At least, we think we do our best to prevent the MC.  Good luck to your FET cycle.

I actually read on this forum about baby aspirin and acupuncture. I asked the doctor about these additional treatments and she approved them. She even provided with the address for the acupuncturist they recommended. I guess it suppose to help blood circulation and implantation. Last three fresh ivf I did not do any of this and this time I did and it worked. I strongly recommend taking baby aspirin three weeks before ivf next time (specially for women who m/c).

i am so happy for you!! Your numbers are great, sounds like there could be two ittle ones in there, your numbers are quite high for your stage!  I was on estrogen and progrestron as wel, the estrogen for almost 3 weeks prior to the transfer, to thicken my uterin lining...and progresten 3 days before the transfer and 12 days after, I stopped both when the 15 days of progresten was over!  I have heard aot of woman taking baby asprin, what is that for? The vaginal progreston (i cant spell that word) is the best apparanty because it absorbs quicker into the membranes, I dont know what to do about the clinic I am at, unfortunatly that is where my eggs are, also I am demanding bloodwork throughout next time, and if they are all normal, fine, at least they checked, but if they are not in the normal range, then I am getting my own doctor to prescribe it for me....I am still having sad moments, I know that is was only about 5 weeks, but it was a viable ´preganancy!!  I am truly happy for you and your hubby, please keep me updated on all the progress, and how many there are and all that good stuff!!  Louise

ps also why acupuncutre???

i am sorry for your loss...

i have gone thru IVF as well, last april 2009 i miscarried at 5 weeks... but now i am 14 weeks pregnant and everything is going fine...

i am writing to you just to share what my FS has done for me after i miscarried...

this cycle, she put me on to baby aspirin (100 mcg aspirin) from the time i started my 2nd IVF cycle up to my 12 weeks of pregnancy, and put me on progesterone suppositories (this is 200 unit and is more absorbdable than other kind of progesterone) up to 8 weeks of pregnancy after the 2 weeks in crinone...

do talk to your Doctor before you do the Frozen Embryo transfer and ask them for other options to avoid another miscarry... ask them what protocol they are planning for you... it is good to ask them and tell them what you think beforehand... i know it is a bit annoying when you talk to the nurses on the IVF clinics as they seem to know everything and does not care to listen at all... as for my case, i kept a copy of the doctors plan, and everytime i ask for another set of progesterone, of when nurses ask why i think aspirin, etc...  i always say to the nurses that the doctor have approved it...

i beleive that the aspirin and progesterone helped me a lot on this cycle...

i am praying that your next transfer be a success... GOD bless...

I hope the time will heal your heart. Next cycle will be 100% success :) I had my second beta today - great number from 705 two days ago to 2480 today!  As you already know we trf two embryos (only two out of four frozen survived). I think the strongest ones survived the thawing and that is why I got BFP this time. No matter how many embryos will survive the thawing for you as long as at least one is strong and healthy. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry for your loss.  I also just had a miscarriage. I was six weeks & had been thru two sono's that were normal & then was told the baby just stopped growing.  Just try to keep the faith & think positive of trying again.  It will happen.  Since I had a D&C I have to wait 2 full cycles & just passed #1.  I hope I am able to start in March.
Do you know what your progesterone levels were? I would ask because sometimes that may not have helped if the eggs were not good (meaning abnormal) Majority of misscarriages are.  I think you were not really bleeding because you were not that far along yet. Since you say that you only had one beta that is probably why.

Again, I am very sorry.  We will try again & pray that this time it will stick.......Baby dust to us all.

Hi you, so how is your beta today??  Nice high number I hope!  I am having more trouble than i thought I would dealing with this!!  I miss that "full feeling" I was getting.. Now of course I am obsessing about whether or not our last 3 eggs will survive the thaw!  I am sure they willn they were really good quality when they froze them,,,,I just cannot seem to stop thinking about the fact that we would have had a little one or two by October, I feel so heart broken, and then of course complete anger takes over in between the tears! I am so anxious to hear from you I wish you all the best and lots of baby dust!!

I'm so sorry your beta dropped! ;( I know how devastating that is. It happened to me in April before I got pregnant with my twins. I was very early in the pregnancy, maybe 4 weeks & just so you know, I didn't have cramping or bleeding. Just a pretty normal period. As far as the progesterone, it was vital for me & if your doctor isn't listening to you & addressing that concern, it may be time to find a new doctor. Maybe you can schedule a consultation with him/her so you're not speaking through the nurse. If you had two embryos transferred via IVF & you think maybe one is still viable, call & ask for another beta in a few days. In the meantime, I wish you my best!!!

Sorry TMI my hubby and I just made love, so I thought for sure something would show up, natta nothing zip!!  First of all, if this was a miscarriage, shouldnt I be experincing pain, or at least heavier bleeding, and if It was my period, I bleed a minimum of 5 days!!! No clots, no pain, but hcg dropped to 48, could i have lost maybe one of the 2 embryos replaced??? My hubby and I are freaking out big time!!  Any advice???

So sorry for your result. I can't believe doctors are so inconsiderate and unprofessional... Wishing you best of luck for the next try. Keep praying, I believe that prayers never go waste, someone up there is listening, but His timing though it may not be when we want it, is the perfect timing. And when you'll finally get the reward of your prayers, it will all be worth it. Hugs

Thank you for your reply!1  I have thought about calling my mom or sister in Canada, my oldest sister lives in the USA (washington state) and is a Nurse in Olympia. I may give her a call, and see if she can "smuggle" me some hormomes, my mom tried to send me tylenol and it got seized for gods sake so hormones may be a problem,, I hope they will listen to me or I am going to lose it big time on them, I have no tolerance for ignorance or rudeness and blatent stupidity....... I will keep you posted...

Love and hugs

Hey girl.
Please please let me know how your next beta goes, I need some good news, even though I have never met you, I am so very happy for you!!  You will never believe it, but I have completely stopped bleeding, I had a tampon(sorry tmi) in for the last 4 hours and nothing not a drop, what is that all about?=?  If this was a miscarriage or a period, it sure as heck goes longer than this, my period lasts at least 5 days minimum and it has only been a day and a half at best and if I miscarried I would guess to have pain and a lot more bleeding for sure!!  NOw I am just plained baffled!!  Anyway I have to go for another bloodtest in 10 days to make sure it goes down to zero...I am praying and have been praying for you too, I wish you all the love in the world and nothing but happiness and little footsteps, we have 3 more very good eggs left, but this time, I am bascially treating myself, hehe.....Please let me know asap how your beta looks tommorrow, much love my friend...Louise xoxo

I wish you TONS of luck with your next cycle, think positive & I bet it will all work out;)
hey, maybe you should try & buy some progesterone on your own....i know you said it's practically impossie there, BUT maybe you can have a friend or family member from Canada get it for you, & send it to you?  Just in case they do this to you again!!!

I am so sorry for your loss...My DH and I were following your posts all the time. We were hoping everything will be OK for you. I do not know what to tell to make you feel better. Do not give up and try one more time. It looks like you do not have a problem with implantation so this is a good news for you, I know next time it will work. Tomorrow is my second beta. I feel good but ofcourse worried. For us it is a miracle that I got BFP this time. I will keep praying for both of us. You are in my thoughts.  Dorothy.

Not good news, my beta is 48 today.-(.-(:_(..I lost it, or them, possibly twins.  I called my clinic and gave them a huge piece of my mind, I told them next time to listen to me when i am telling them that I need to continue CRINOINE; and their reply was they discontinue it with everyone, I told them i am not everyone, I am me!!  They need to get off their arrogant pompeuos ***** and listen to their patient!!  I know my body and I know I dont produce enough progestreon at the beginning I didnt with my daughter either and they would know that if they read my chart instead of assuming I am ok just because we are there doing IVF because my husband had a vasectomy, I had one blood test for hormone levels almost 2 years ago!!!!  Hello??  You cannot guess hormone levels, anyway I want to thank each and everyone of you for your help and support and encouragement! I couldn't have got through this without all of you!  I am trying one last time next month, 3 frozen embies left,. To the rest of you I wish you a wonderful happy experience with nothing but love laughter and lots of poopy diapers to come!!  Love and affection Louise xoxox
