MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi there,
In nonpregnant females the normal prolactin levels are 2 - 29 ng/mL. High prolactin levels can be seen in hypothyroidism, kidney disease, prolactinoma etc.Drugs like Reserpine, antidepressants, estrogens, metoclopramide can cause increased prolactin levels. High prolactin can lead to anovulation.High prolactin should be addressed by treating the underlying cause. Adopting lifestyle changes like exercises, yoga, stress control can help .Seeking the opinion of an infertility expert will be really helpful.
Take care and kind regards!
