Do i take clomid next month or not.. Please help !!

Im on metformin and clomid trying to get preg after a mc in july.. I was 18wks preg with my son Alex.. I have pcso.. anyway I took clomid last month and I ovulated but I didnt get preg but this month I didnt take the clomid bc my husband works out of town and i knew he would not be home to get me preg.. So I didnt take it I ovulate the 15th day of my cycle which is today.. I went to the bathroom and had the clear dicharge and i noticed my ovories were hurting so i took a test and I got a smilely face.. I ouvlated without the clomid.. Im shocked I ouvlated without the clomid... My question is do i take the clomid for next month or do i not.. My husband will b home for the big day.. Please help dont know what to do..

I would have a 21 day progesterone test to see how well you are ovulating.  Although it may be true you are ovulating, it may not be that great.  (That was part of the problem with me, my 21 day test was 10 which dr wasnt happy with that)  Clomid basically makes you ovulate better, the only dowside is in some people it can thin your lining make implantation difficult if not impossible. I took clomid  my last cycle and I ovulate real early in my cycle like the 12th in a 30 day cycle. I did not get pregnant that cycle... I did not take it this cycle and I believe I ovulated on cd 16 so I am waiting on my period to come or be pregnant I hope!!!!
I had my 21 progesterone test and it was 12 so who knows!!! I say if you can ovulate on your own why take it?
