It is hard to say. The basic concept they tell women is to have sex every other day. I would try this for a month and if you do not get pregnant you might want to get his sperm checked to make sure there is nothing wrong on his end. Sperm can live inside you for up to 5-6 days. The key is up to 5-6 days. Not all sperm can live even that long. I would say after 3 days most of the sperm is no longer alive. Another thing you can do is stay laying on your back for 20-30 min after sex before you get up. Although it has not been scientifically proven to work it has also not be proven to not work. I figure why not try it if there is any chance it will work.
On regards to what you guys are saying regarding sexual intercourse. I notice that when we do have sex his sperm seems to be at the opening of my vagina and when I go to the bathroom it's either leaking out or I am wiping it away. Even If I have him ejaculate on me it doesn't seem like much comes out which is why I wait till the go to time because I see alot more sperm at that one time. So if we have sex every other day we will be getting nothing in return. Which would be the reason it took 2 years to get pregnant. So what is the best option in this situation to get pregnant and sperm actually getting into my vagina. And to keep his cyclers swimming is every 4th day good. Because every 2 and three days I don't see that happening.
Just to reiterate what Carly1306 said. Do not have sex every day. It is better to have sex every other day. The man needs time to rebuild his healthy swimmers. Also not having sex at all until 'Go' time can be bad. A man needs to keep cycling his swimmers. If he has not ejaculated for almost a month and then it's 'go' time that sperm could have some built up bad swimmers. Best of luck to you.
Cervical mucous is a tricky one, and it is different at various times during your cycle. When you're approaching your 'fertile window' it should become creamy, and them almost egg-white-like when you're at your fertile time.
However, this isn't the case for every women, so you just cannot judge anything by cervical mucous alone. Especially when you're having sex, you might think you are having lots of cervical mucous, when infact, it is just some CM and the rest is semen from having sex (this can still be discharged from your body from a while afterwards...the next day, even)
As long as you're having sex every other day or so leading to, and for a few days after your fertile window then that's about all you can do. Too much tracking/timing can be more of a hindrence than a help sometimes when TTC.
But there is still the question about my cervical mucus. I understand what your saying about using one kit which I have been doing in the past. But after this miscarriage period has been late and stuff. So I just wanted it to be as specific as to when I'm ovulating. So if I wasn't using ovulation kits and going by my body would I go by my cervical mucus. Cause I try to save from having sex till only around the time I'm ovulating because after the first round he doesn't have that much sperm. Thanks for the help.
This is definitely very confusing.
I would stop using so many different kinds of ovulation tests - they could be set to pick up different levels and that could make the readings 'off'.
I would pick one, and stick to using that. It's best to test for ovulation between about 2-7pm as this is when the hormones are at their best for being picked up on a test. I used to test about 2pm then again after dinner.
Once you get a positive ovulation test, you are supposed to stop testing until the next month. This is because situations like you have just explained can happen. I would scrap the tests for this month, have sex every other day for the next few days just to make sure you're covered in case this is the proper ovulation and start a fresh next month (if you need to, of course).
