Follicle growth

Went for follicle ultrasound today, CD13, took clomid 100mg.  Have 2 follicles measuring 16mm and 1 measuring 12mm and 1 at 11mm.  Go back in 2 days to see how progressed and decide on day for Ovidrel injection.  Anyway, they told me that the 2 larger ones should be around 20mm and possibly the 12mm could grow more and be close and if large enough will wait until Friday for injection.  Crossing my fingers this happens, as more follie more chances of BFP.

Has anyone had similar situations - I know the lead follicles usually take over, but hoping the smaller ones will catch up.

I swear this waiting is almost as bad as the 2WW.  I was going crazy wondering what development was going on and now more waiting.  At least it looks positive for ovulation this month.

On my CD 10 scan I had a 9 on the left and an 11 on the right. Then I went back on CD 15 and the right had fallen out of the race but the one that was 9 was then 20.5 and I had another on the left at 12. I did the ovidrel injection that night and went back for IUI the next day and the one that was 20.5 made it to 24 and the 12 was 12.8. So, I only sent one eggie and am now 7.5 wks preg. Good luck to you.
