For the first time I am not trying

I have 28 day cycles lasting 5 days. On 1/1/14 I had a period it was different for me, very light not too heavy.  I very lightly spotted 4 days one week after ovulation. Yes hubby and I had unprotected sex not trying to make a baby just to enjoy each other.  I have never spotted in my life.  period is due 1/29/14. I have no sign of a period today is 1/28/14. Should I take a test? Or was that a period?

Hi,
The light spotting that you had cannot be considered as a normal period. This increases the chances of a pregnancy. Also you have not had your normal menses this time too. You should take a pregnancy test and find out.
The answer is based on information provided. Exact advice is not possible without a proper examination and investigations. You are requested to consult your Doctor. Take care and keep us posted.
