7 weeks pg and cramping

I am 7.5 weeks pregnant with twins and I have been cramping today.  I have been cramping some on and off, but today when I woke up, it has lasted.  When we went for the US thursday, she scanned my ovaries and they are still pretty big from all the medicines, plus they said they want them big to support the pregnancy.  Has anyone experienced this?  I'm hoping that it's just my enlarged ovaries and that I am not about to miscarry?  Any advice or opinions would be appreciated.  Thanks

I have not been pregnant with the meds before (well i think i am now, but first pregnancy was natural). Anyway. . . I had bad cramps off and on from the day that i missed my period.  I thought all the way through the first trimester that i would start af any minute. So i think some cramping is normal as long as you don't have spotting or crippling over cramps. Right now i think that my ovaries are still swollen also (they were the day of my embryo transfer), And i am having mild cramping off and on.  Did you do IVF? Hope this helps. Good luck.

I thinking wishing is right.. I've had some AF cramping and have googled it quit a bit... the more I read the more I think it is pretty normal.. unless like wishing said it gets severe or is accompanied by spotting..  If it gets too worry some, I would call your dr for sure..

I was also wondering... Is your ovary pain in the front over to one side or is it directly on your side?  Also is low down or higher up..  I've had some aching in my side.. occasionally I have felt it on the front, off to one side, in the upper area.. but mostly it is directly on the side and at the bottom part of my rib cage... I was thinking maybe it was a corpus luteal cysts..

Thanks for the feedback.  Actually, my pain has gotten better.  I think now that it may be GI related.  No, I'm not spotting or bleeding which is a relief.  I never really have had ovarian pain or off to one side, mine is usally my whole abdomen.  Today it was higher right around my belly button.  Back about 8-19 days post transfer, my upper abdomen around my rib cage was sore even to the touch.  I do feel better now, it's just every little thing makes me worry!   I just don't want to miscarry, but I know that it's out of my control.  Thanks again and good luck to you both!
