HCG shot

Hi everyone!   How long after HCG shot does ovulation occur? I had the shot June 30.

Also, does anyone here use progesterone supp? I will be starting tomorrow 2x a day. Could you please advice as to what to do and not to do while on it? Please share tips. It will be  highly appreciated.

I checked the label but it only says Progesterone Supp 100mg. It's kinda like a capsule. I just have to stay off my feet for 15minutes. Yes, you are right it's kinda messy  so the pad helps.  I think  I have for 7weeks supply.

This cycle I had back to back IUI's. First was 18hrs after the HCG shot and then the second IUI was 42hrs after the HCG shot.

I just arrived from Re's office , had u/s done and was showing that I already ovulated.  My Re said everything looks really good and now, it is just between Me and God. So, I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Now, starts my 2ww !

my understand when you have your trigger shot, the ovulation should take place within 36 hours.  I was on prometrium for 15 days one  a day after the ovulation..

I don't think there is any restriction while on Prometrium...

Good luck to you..

Ovulation should occur around 36 hours after the HCG shot.so a day and a half after the shot.  Are you taking Crinone cream as your progesterone supp?  I have taken that many times.  It is gross cause it is messy and it gives some pregnancy symptoms so it can be deceiving.  I can't think of anything that you can not do while on it, but I'll let you know if I think of anything.  Good luck!  Are you having an IUI done?
