HSG fine, Weight issues

Had my HSG today, everything came out fine. Had another repeat beta to be sure levels went back to 0. So since we are doing everything possible and my hormones and eggs and all look perfect on paper, I asked him if there is anything else to boost my fertility anything to eat/not eat ect (besides the obvious) he said no not really just lose about 27 Ibs.! Granted 2 years ago when I started seeing him I was 138 and I'm 5'6''. After my son I still have weight issues and now I flucuate between 160-165. I have tried to lose weight 2 different times, with no success. This last time I ended up hurting both my knees (as when I was 18 had surgery on one and told I had the knees of a 40 y/o) so I kind of gave up. DH and I both eat fairly healthy but I have no idea how to start this. Walking is great but we live on the top of a very large hill, so the hill coming back up hurts my knees...!!! FRUSTRATED any ideas ladies?????

an eliptical machine helps take the stress off of knees. Look into that and see what you can find out. I have a treadmill that I love (when I use the darn thing!)

im glad to hear you HSG was normal...that's great news

as for losing weight...granted everybody's body is different...i substitute a salad for a meal almost everyday and drink lots of water

maybe its best to ask your family doc what they suggest...you dont want to lose weight the unhealthy way

also i have been hearing a lot about diets rich in protein to help lose weight...maybe google will help with this?

best of luck to you
