felt ovulation but OPK said negative

I took my first round of 50mgs of Clomid on CD 5-9 starting Aug 23. I took my last pill the 27th and started using OPK the 29th morning. Yesterday I felt like I ovulated, but yesterday morning and this morning I still got a negative result. I can usually tell when I O. Im worried and frustrated that it wont happen for me. Does anyone know if I have a chance? Thanks, SBD to all!!!!

Yes im on clomid, this is my second cycle 5-9 now im on day 11 of my cycle i starting having "sex" on the 10th day  just to be on the safe side and every other day untill day 20! Most girls prolly dont do it for that long! Its just clomid can make you ovulate sooner or later. And sence we have been trying for 2 years i wanna make sure i do it right!
Doctor also told me if im not pregnent in 4 months then to go back and see him! im just hoping the next time i go back i am pregnent and im wanting this month to be Our month. lol

Thanks for the reply. Are you taking Clomid now? I was also wondering if you heard it is best to do the BD in the morning? I started BD'ing on day CD12 so I hope I didnt start too late. Also did you have any side effects when you were on Clomid? I have been getting headaches since I started it...and I have been done since the 27th and I am still getting them :(  I really hope it works this month.....Good luck to you and everyone also!!!!

Im on the same boat, but when the doctor told me clomid worked and i ovulate i asked him why that OPK never had a postivie sign, he told me they dont always work and to stop wasting my money!
I was always told just to be on the safe side and since clomid can make you ovulate sooner or later then normal start having sex day 10 of your cycle till day 20 just to be safe! every other day!
