Help....Two Week Wait!!!

This is my second IVF cycle, after the first failed the doctor check my husband and I's blood for antiphospholipid antibodies. My husband's were positive, mine were negative. I am taking Heparin shots twice daily and a baby aspirin. We are currently in our two week wait. I had transfer on 5-17-10 I am so wanting to do a hpt but I know it will not be accurate. I do not feel pregnant. I had 12 eggs 10 fertilized and 1 was blasocyst 1 murula (?) those were put back in at transfer the others were hopefully going to be frozen however they did not make it All remaining 8 died. I am heartbroken over that. Please any encouragement or help would be greatly appreciated. God Bless!!!

Hi there. This is also my second cycle, last one failed. And in both cases the rest of my embryos didn't survive to day 6, I felt also devastated. I had a miscarriage long time ago. In this second cycle I had a 5 day transfer of 2 blast, and now I am pregnant of almost 6 weeks, my first ultrasound will be in June 3rd. So don't worry, we have hope !!! Can I ask you in which moment of your cycle did you lose your pregnancy ? All the best for you !

I was always told by my dr. that if you get 1-2 embryos frozen from an IVF cycle, you should consider yourself lucky. I was incredibly fortunate in that way b/c I was left with 4 frozen embryos, but I know it's not unusual at all not to have any. My clinic only freezes the absolute best quality ones that make it to day 6. You have to remember that only about 80% of the frozen embryos will survive the thawing process, so they won't freeze anything that won't have the best potential to survive that process.

Focus on the one that was transferred; after all it only takes one! I had one embryo transferred (also a 5 day blastocyst) and it worked! Hang in there; I know the wait is torture, we all do :)
