He's penetrating my cervix? WARNING! TMI

Ok, I know studies show that penetrating the cervix is practically impossible, BUT...while on my TTC journey, during intercourse  (supposedly while I'm ovulating) why is it more painful for me? !!TMI!! He's about 9" or so, and usually has to leave 1" or so out for my comfort. My question is, if it's so impossible, what in heaven's name is he hitting?! Also, does this highten my chances of conceiving?

It's because your more sensitive and tender during ovulation. Just have him not thrust so deep.
