High FSH
I went to get blood tests done as i have been trying for a baby for 1 year and a half.
In June 2010 tests came back abnormal.
Sept 2010 again abnormal.
LH 37.0 IU/L Luteal 1-12 Post menop >25
FSH 72 IU/L follicular 2-11 Liteal 2-9 Post menop >25.
I am 31 years old, have 1 child of 3 and still have regular periods. Does this mean i am post menop and cant have any more children

From my experience - a high FSH means that the ovaries are tired and need extra stimulation so extra FSH is produced to help the ovaries produce eggs.
It is an indicator that fertility is decreasing but it does not mean that you are going into menopause. From what i have been told you only go into menopause about 10 years after you lose your fertility.
I'm currently using DHEA to try and better my situation. Find yourself a good fertility specialist that will provide you with more extreme forms of ivf and stimulation. Dont waste any time.
It is a massive shock when you find out that your fsh is high but it certainly does not mean that you cant have a baby.
