You're a peach! Thanks :-)

Oh, you should start OPKing! It's like a pregnancy test except it detects LH surge that takes place 24-48 hours before you O. So, when you get a positive OPK, you should get busy! Just buy a pack of OPKs (next to pregnancy tests) at your local pharmacy or grocery store. Each pckage contains about 7 sticks. Instructions are very easy to follow. I start testing around cd10-11 till I get a positive.
You can also get really cheap ones along with a BBT thermometer at:

Here's more info on OPKs:

I have ovulated on my own in years past when I was not on the pill, with missed periods every five years or so. But, I never really paid attention to when I ovulated or CM at all. I did not have a huge problem until this year, when I went 5 moths without a period, and then had to take Provera to start, get on the pill for two months to regulate me, and then take Provera AGAIN before starting Clomid in October and November.
Thus, I have no idea what to expect in terms of O except/unless the pattern from the last two months stays the same or CM, but CM for me is not always present when I O. AAAARGH! I don't chart my BBT, and I have no idea what an OPK is and how it works. I will look that up.
I REALLY appreciate your replies. :-)
Clomid affected my O day. It is possible that you may O before cd15 on your own. I am not sure you can use HCG effectively without u/s. How would you know that your follies are mature? The first month after clomid my O day shifted back to where it was without it so I would not rely on your previous month experience. Perhaps you can OPK and feed your POAS addiction :)
Also, I am not sure why you were taking clomid but will you ovulate on your own without it?
I've heard that clomid can effect your cycle even after you have stopped taking it. I got bfp with shot and no clomid but we did use u/s to confirm the timing of the shot.
best of luck to you.
