Horrible symptoms after iui

We have been ttc for three years with a dx of unexplained infertility. We underwent our 2nd iui on 2/5, on 2/8 i started having immense pressure in my lower abdomen   thought i may be constipated but was still going, the pain and pressure continued and got more severe.  On 2/10 went to my primary because i really didn't think what i was feeling had anything to do with the iui. He examined me and told me he believed everything i was experiencing was due to the iui. He ran blood work and called today to say my white blood cell count was elevated and to start on antibiotics . Over night i bled a little had a lot of discharge of the crinone i have been using. Woke up feeling horrible today saw the re today who didnt give me any answers.  Since being examined by the re i have been having yellow/brown discharge to the point of feeling like im peeing my pants every few hours. Im just wondering if anyone had had any similar experiences.  I asked if I could possibly have an infection in my uterus but the re didnt say yes or no. I am at my wits end and just want answers to why i am in so much pain.

I'm 2dpiui.. I'm still having abdominal cramps on & off. Yesterday i feel so weak, had a fever & started diarrhea. I'm pretty sure they are all side effects of ovidrel injection. But the infection in the lining of your uterus is not for sure caused by fertility drugs..well, you must inform your RE regarding your condition. Hope you get well.... Best of luck to us.

Well a follow up, my rei clinic failed me. it took the work of my general practitioner to find out i have an infection in the lining of my uterus, which I can't help but feel was caused during my IUI as I have never had any issues before. This was our last chance and now to hear that I have an infection is devastating. Appearently having a baby is just not in my future. I ask that if you are having any unusual feelings or symptoms please get yourself checked.
