can pcos give u a negative preg test when your preg

i had a scan tree or for months ago for pcos the tech sed there were cysts my old doc there said she shudnt of sed that and i was just ovulating
now my new docs looked at them she thinks i may have it she has told me to wait to test as pcos can give u a false negative
she took my blood but in england it can take up to seven days so im going for a scan

i have never heard this but after a bit of research i found a few things that lead me to think its tru what do you think x

I agree I have pcos and I came up positive on my pregancy test only 8 days past IVF. So pcos doesn't create false positives.

I do not think PCOS would cause you to have a negative preg test. I know it can affect LH and OPK's but does not affect HCG.
