that is completely normal you are leaking out the waxy coat on the outside of them. once you hit 13 weeks of your pregnancy, your doctor will let you stop taking them. make sure you are lying down flat for 20 minutes after you use them, that helps make sure you get the progesterone in.
Yes it is gross
I asked my doc to switch to progesterone powder capsules (which is what my last RE did and they don;t leak as much) same price
Yep 3 months of panty liners.....it was so free feeling the first day I was allowed to stop using them!
yes, you take them through the first trimester. Lovely I know :) But worth it!!
you have to take them for that long if you're pg? ugh. no fun.
I used crinone and it wasn't that bad. You might ask you dr to switch you. It did have a strange by-product that it left behind, kinda looked like wet tissue paper, but it wasn't real messy or wet feeling.
If you are pg, you will be on these for 3 months so you might as well be comfortable.
they are indeed messy. I thank god i only have to use them at night so when i lay down it isn't so bad.
yes, thats normal unfortuantely.. the first few days it doesn't seem to do that, but as the two weeks goes on it does, i had to wear a liner.... the suppositories seem to be worse though, than the oral capsules.. i switched back to the oral capsules, and just insert those vaginally, works the same way, but its a smaller capsule, thats what my RE recommended. GOOD LUCK! : )
I started using panty liners because those progesterone inserts seemed to pour out of me within a few hours of putting them in.
