progestrone shots

I had IVF last week, this morning I switch the needles, but I put on a 1/2 inch needle instead of a 11/2 inch.  More or less it went Sub-Q ( under my skin)  I switched needles immedialty and injected the right amt. in my muscle.  Is there anything I can do it does sting, I am assuming I will just have to wait it out?

Ouch. I think it is just a wait it out thing. I hear lots of women say ice helps. But, my dr said use heat. Using it b4 inject helps relax the muscle. After inject helps it thin out and absorb better. I started sitting on a heating pad and it really seemed to help.
