Congratulations!! I have been thinking about you.
Having 21 eggs - WOWO!!!   Have you had a lot in the past?
I seem pretty consistent at 7, every time.
I posted an IVF check-in forum this morning; I have been so bad at keeping up.

PGD is "preimplantation genetic diagnosis"
Because of my age 38 will be 39 in January, and my multiple miscarriages, and I am a carrier of cystic fibrosis and a carry of Fragile X (mental retardation) that is why I had PGD done.
PGD is a genetic test that they do on the embrie on day 3 to make sure it has all the correct genetics.

If you do a google search you will get a lot of information about it.

Out of my 14 eggs that fertalized, only 3 eggs passed the PGD testing!!!  So, I'm very glad that I did it!

Hope this helps

Congratulations and how very exciting.

My experience in IVF was this.  On the day of ER, they retrieved 9 eggs.  8 fertilized.  We did PGD testing, so by the time the ET took place, only 3 had made it through the PGD testing.  The transplanted 2 blasts, but now, I am 11 weeks along with one healthy baby boy.

Good luck to you, and, again, CONGRATULATIONS!!!
