IUI Cancelled - should i still try?

6 lead follicles, all around 16 mm.  Estriodol 1119.  Cycle Day 11.

Dr suggested that I cancel this months attempt to conceive, and start taking prometrium, today, to stop these follies from growing any further.
It's my choice, and i hate to waste this cycle.  The dr. says i should understand the risks:
A. They are concerned that i might get OHSS (ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome) and they tell me this could be deadly if i proceed.
B.  Multiples are a big possibility

We have borderline swimmer issues anyway so it probably wouldn't even matter.


What would you do?

The only thing about NOT taking the trigger shot is that all my follicles may not actually release, causing leftover cysts to contend with next cycle, which could delay my conception attempts next month too...


It looks like most all you ladies think i should skip the trigger shot though.  Hmmmmm....

I would suggest that you just follow the doctors orders.  I overstimulated with my IVF and I was in a lot of pain.  They told me that if I would have conceived then I would have been really really sick.  I had to postpone doing my transfer until just recently.  It is a tough call to make and it is very frustrating but the doctor knows best.

Take the trigger shot tomorrow and BD on Friday and Saturday,  I would def take the chance.  Good luck
