what is wrong???

I usually have a 25 day cycle and this month is it was 89-29 days.  I have had a 24-26 day cycle, but not this long.  Plus...usually I have almost hemorage type blood (TMI sorry).  This time a tampson is lasting 4-5 hours, usually only 1.5  max for the first day or three.  It is not heavy enough it seems.  I had a D&C last year (October) for polyps in my uterus.  i had either a miscarriage or a burst polyp this August.  Oh my gosh I had never seen so much blood.  It made me anemic.  Ever since I have had 24-26 day cycles which uses to be a bit short for me but I was getting used to it.  My flows were heavier, with a lot of clots, and my bbs hurt really bad.  I am going in on the 21st for an untrasound, to check for polyps and to look at my overies.  Any ideas on why my cycles are so messed up?  I would like to discuss this with him.  Any of you chart analizers out there I would be grateful if you would take a look and give me any analysis you can.

hi summer,
i think i just responded to another one of your posts. i had a similar problem this month.  my luteal phase is never longer than 14 days.  but four months ago, i had a long luteal phase with no sign of pregnancy.  i got my af and it was very light, spotting for 2 1/2 days.  the same thing has happened to me again this past month.  my fertility advisor is away so i can't talk to her about it.  but last time around she said it could be a corpus luteum cyst (am i spelling that right?).  she said it's nothing to worry about (a one time rare thing) unless it happens again.  so maybe that is what happened to you.  obviously for me, it is re-occurring.  i am going to be talking to her again in the new year.  if i hear anything, i will post it on this board.
good luck and i hope it works out well for you!  keep me posted.

I think either could have an effect on your cycle. Hopefully, your doctor will be able tell you what's going on next week. Good luck, and keep us posted!

That is what I was thinking but I am not sure since before August I never really paid much attention.  Is it possible for either one of those problems to do that?

Your chart actually looks very good. You have a clear bi-phasic curve and you definitely ovulated. BUT, I have to admit that it is a bit weird that your temps haven't gone back down below your coverline. Especially since it actually went up a little bit again today. I have heard that some women have somewhat erratic temperatures while they're on their periods, though...but personally, my temps always go back down below the coverline once I start my period.

Do you think that the miscarriage or polyps in August could have messed up your cycles a bit...and that's why they've been shorter and with heavier bleeding? And maybe now you're back to your normal cycles again? Just a thought...

Is it possible I have a lutenal phase defect since my temps never went back below the cover line this month?  I read that somewhere I think???
