How is everything? Have you gotten your results yet?  This month I ovulated earlier than usual and started getting a crampy feeling in my side and it has continued. My period according to when I ovulated is due today or tomorrow. But I am giving it till next week just in case I misinterpreted the time I ovulated. Let me know how you are doing!

I agree about the expense and we get zero help from insurance for IVF.  Fortunately our insurance covers 50% of the IUI cost and our RE did not recommend any med's this time around.  So each IUI will be $130 total cost.  6 of them is nothing compared to IVF.

I'm so sorry for all of the prior BFN's.  I hope you and I both get a BFP very soon!

No we did three IUI'S and attempted one but meds failed. then we did IVF. It failed also. We cant afford to do IVF again right now. I was just wondering anyone ever had results with IUI Afterwards. Its much more affordable but I see some women trying like 6 or 7 times and that adds up. The stuff is so expensive and insurance doesn't cover a dime.

I don't have any results yet, sorry.  As soon as my opk is positive I'll go in for IUI the next day.  The IUI should happen within the next 6 days.  We had one failed IVF fresh cycle and one succesful FET.  Now that we are tapped out financially we are trying IUI's.  Our RE recommended trying 6 times before giving up.  Before doing IVF we had done 4 or 5 IUI's that all failed.  I'm hoping we are not wasting our time as I'm turning 38 this year and DH is turning 45.

Are you doing an IUI soon?
