PLEASE SOMEBODY RESPOND...... I AM NOT VERY GOOD WITH ABBRIVATIONS SO DON'T USE THEM IF U CAN HELP IT......

***** WHAT IS AN IUI AND WHEN DO THEY USE IT?
***** WHEN AND HOW DO THEY GIVE YOU CLOMID?

THE REASON WHY IM CONCERNED IS BECAUSE I GO TO THE RE DOCTOR ON THIS UPCOMING MONDAY AND THEY ARE SUPPOSE TO PERFROM AN ULTR SOUND ON MY TUBES BECAUSE I'VE HAD CHLYMIDIA IN MY PAST YEARS AND THEY WANT TO MAKE SURE THAT IM OK......

I DON'T WANT THIS PROCESS TO BE LONG BECAUSE I'M READY FOR MY BABY ME AND MY DH HAS TRIED FOR OVER 3YEARS WITH NO SUCCESS. CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT THIS PROCESS I SHOULD ASK MY DOCTOR TO GO WITH SO I CAN SEE FAST RESULTS......

The doctors don't know the cause, probably an infection that was never treated. I got pregnant naturally in January which ended in miscarriage and now we are starting IVF next month to bypass my tubes.

So are you able to get PG and what caused your tubes to get blocked...................

IUI or intra-uterine insemination isn't very expensive it is usually one of the first things they do for infertility. I did 5 unsuccessful IUI each one costing about $300. You DH would have to come in a few hours before you to collect his semen if he wants to be the biological father, if you are on your own you can use donor semen. An IUI is an easy and painless procedure that only takes a few minutes. Your DH is alone in a room he shouldn't have any reason to be against it, some clinics allow you to collect at home and bring in the semen sample. Then they just inject it into your uterus with a catheter and you lie down for 20 minutes and you're done.
   IVF (invitro fertilization) on the other hand is when they take your eggs and his semen and fertilize your eggs is a dish before putting them back into your uterus. It takes several weeks, many appointments, you have to inject yourself with fertility drugs before and after the procedure and costs around $10,000-$15,000. This is usually the only option to get pregnant if your tubes are blocked.
You need to do an HSG (hysterosalpingogram) first to check if your tubes are open and hopefully they are. I did 2 HSGs and they showed my tubes are mostly blocked, they are kinda painful. I hope this helps you.

ALSO, WHAT IS AN IVF AND IS THAT EXPENSIVE..... WHAT ALL DO YOU THINK THEY WILL DO TO ME WHEN I DO MY ULTRASOUND IF THEY ARE BLOCKED LIKE CAN THEY DO ANYTHING THAT SAME DAY! AND WHY DO THEY HAVE ME TAKING PRENATAL VIT ALREADY!

IUI is when they use a catheter and place the semen into you uterus usually, this wont help if your tubes are blocked. Clomid is a pill usually taken for 5 days near the beginning of your cycle to help with ovulation, again it wont help if your only problem is tubal blockage. IVF is probably the only way to get pregnent if your tubes are blocked since it completey bypasses your tubes. An ultrasound may not detect tubal issues, you need an HSG where they inject dye into your uterus to see if it spills into your tubes to see if they're open or blocked. Good luck
