IVF Benefit Coverage

Hi I am new to the forum and I wanted to know if any one lives near Round Rock Tx and possible have any information about IVF coverage. Me and my husband I moved here and are trying to find jobs in this area that may have benefit coverage for ivf. Or have any one done ivf and funded it, besides doing a loan. We cannot get a loan right now. And I am just trying look into other avenues. This will be our second time doing ivf. We are possible looking into a gestatinal carrier also.

No I haven't...

I know several people who have done it through TFC and have had success.  If you go there I would suggest Dr. Vaughn, if you can get in to him.  Dr. Silverberg is an ahole (pardon my language).  Dr. Burger is nice, but not as experienced as the others.  There is another female doc there, Dr. Hanson...never seen her though.

As far as Seeker - his staff is amazing.  So is he.  He is getting a new office in May and will be right behind North Austin Medical Center.

I am not in the same boat as you - we've only done one IUI and can't even think about being about to afford IVF for a while.  Good luck and I hope this helps!  There doesn't seem to be too many people on here from Austin though.

Dr. Seeker is great too - and I like his staff MUCH better than TFC.  I would try him out - but not positive that he does IVF.

I have a nurse practioner and she is through St.David's Hosp in Round Rock. I did send off for information to the texas fertility center. That is a great idea I will ask them which employers carry IVF coverage.

I live in Austin - Wells Branch area, not far from you.  You might want to call the Texas Fertility Center.  They are located at Mopac and Far West Blvd.  You can ask them what employers carry IVF coverage, if any.  They might be able to help!

Who is your OBGYN?
