I believe that we all may have different experiences, but I experienced menstrual like cramps for almost 2 months after transfer with bleeding.  I was on Estrace and Endometrin.  After multiple visits to the emergency room and doctor because of the bleeding and pain, the twins are still fine.

I had a subchorionic hemmorhage(blood clot) that caused the bleeding.  They said that it could be because of the Endometrin.  But the good news is that the twins are fine.

It's hard and emotionally very draining, but try to stay positive.

Best Wishes! :)

Thanks for attending to my first msg.  I've been having lower abdominal discomfort since yesterday. like premenstrual  pains.
I did an endometriosis surgery 5yrs ago, I've tried IUI 3x that failed,  I now decided to go for IVF on the 13th of May with donor egg. I'm placed on Cyclogest & Proginova.  Could theze drugs be the cause of breast tenderness and increase in size?  At times I feel dizzy,  nausea.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi there,
Abdominal pain almost 5 days after embryo transfer can be due to several causes. Abdominal pain could possibly be an indication of implantation Breast tenderness could also be an early symptom of pregnancy. Patients with infertility are at an increased risk of ectopic. A rare but serious complication can occur in few women called ovarian hyper stimulation syndrome characterized by swollen abdomen accompanied by pain, nausea, vomiting etc. If the pain is severe it is best to contact your infertility clinic. A clinical examination may be necessary. I hope it helps.
Best wishes and kind regards!
