Hi everyone, I did my first blastocyst transfer on 5-06-09 I go friday for bloodtest, should I have any signs at this point? I have felt moody and if I get sad I have cryed not sure if its the meds, Im on estrace and endometrin. If my bloodtest comes back that im pregnant how far along would I be? thanks

Ovulation day is the retrieval day and that is where they start the count for pregnancy. if you did a 5dt, that is 5 days pregnant.

Some people have signs and some have none, it's very individual.

I am assuming you did a day 5 transfer so that would mean your retrieval was on 5/1 which means if you get a BFP you will be about 4 weeks with a due date of January 21. You are actually pregnant for 10 months not 9. As for symptoms, it is often hard to tell with the hormones you are on since they sometimes mock pg symptoms.

hi and yeah i did a 5 day transfer and i did do retrival on 5-1-09, the nurse said that if I do get pregnant that I wouldnt go 9 months that it would be less, I wasnt sure if I would have any symptoms that would show if I was or wasnt pregnant. thanks

I did my retrieval and transfer on the same days. My test is thursday. So far I have had on and off cramping and sore breasts. My doc did tell me that you can't necessarily trust the symptoms your body goes through. I'm in the same boat. I wish there was a way to know sooner!! Hope it works for you!!

Hi, I had my first ivf day3 transfer on May 7th, today is my 6th day after ET, first two days I had major cramps, but now I don't feel anything anymore. I just want to know if it is normal to have no symptoms after ET. My Beta is scheduled on Thursday May 21th.

Progesterone can cause all the same symptoms as pregnancy. But implantation cramping can occur as can bleeding. Sore breasts. Food aversions / cravings. Or you could have nothing and still be pg. I know how hard the 2ww is hell. You can start testing about 10 days post transfer, the HCG will be out of your system but you may not show a positive yet so don't freak if you get a negative. I'd suggest using the First Response or other test that shows you the line that way you can gauge if it is getting darker.

which  meds are Progesterone ? I havent had any bleeding but the others I have. They have me coming in on the 15th which is 10 days will that be to soon for bloodtest ?

Endometrin is the progesterone. You mean you bled after other IVFs? 10 days isn't too soon for a blood test since they pick up even an HCG of 1, while the tests vary, but your beta level may be on the lower side but as long as it is above 50 you are good, and it has to double in 48 / 72 hours. My clinic waits to 14pt, but every clinic is different.

I had my transfer yesterday and my blood test is due on 23rd 2 days after you. I had been looking for symptoms of implantation and haven't noticed anything yet. This wait is killing me LOL.

no hun this is my first IVF what I meant was I have other symptoms, I havent bleed at ALL

Hi luckycharm, is this your first ivf try? was it day3 transfer or day5? I am now 7 dp3dt    ( 5/7/09) still no symptoms, I am on Emdometrin twice a day and heparin 250ml and prednisone. last Monady my progesterone was good 66.5 but this 2 WW is killing every day feels like a year of waiting. I am taking it easy took 2 weeks off work and no housework either, my hubby is out of country so I am all alone watching tv and reading. no special diet for me but I am trying to keep it healthy.      
I'll keep praying and sending lots of sticky baby dust thoughts to all of you!!

Hello Eva I also had a day 3 transfer on May 7th, I am going for my beta on 5/20. I had cramps also for the 1st 4 days after transfer still having some but not as intense. I agree the 2ww is torture. LOTS OF STICKY BABY DUST TO YOU!!!

I had my 5 day transfer. I am taking 3 days off. I think being home is making the wait more unbareable. My DH doesn' t understand anything. I am sooo annoyed. I don't talk to him about anything.
I am trying to eat healthy as well. Am not lifting anything over a kilo.
Just as I am typing this. I have some pain in my right ovary. I don't know what this has to do with anything but I feel better that I have some sort of symptom.( I know it is stupid ..)
My embryologist rang today they had one embryo to freeze. I hope we won't need that.
I am checking this forum every 5 mins.
Baby dust to all of us. I had been talking to my embryo ( not aloud though) telling him or her to stick and grow.

Today is my 8dpt , I felt little dizzy today I don't know if this is a good sign or a bad one.I am thinking to do a hpt tomorrow morning what do you think? my RE and the nurse told me to stay away from hpt but it is so tempting esp. I have a three tests package I bought it today but I was talking to myself to wait till the day before my beta. I had four misscarriges (01,02 04 and 2006) after going to so many doctors my last RE discovered that I have something in my blood called AntiCardiolipin which could cause that the fetus inside my womb won't develop the way it should that is why I am on heparin and baby aspirin plus prednisone, of course progesterone 2 cc everyday. any new symptoms for you ladies? I am so glad I found this forum, luckycharm I feel you when you say that your hubby don't understand you, mine too but you know they won't know what we are going through esp. with all the meds that we've got in our bodies. Let's stay positive like my mom used to tell me "think positive you get good things". SSBD to all of you...

I know what you mean I'm tempted to hpt also but I think I'm going to wait till the morning of my beta. So sorry for your losses. Your right husbands don't have a clue, mine has asked me everyday since transfer if I feel pregnant, he's starting to get on my nerves. Today my stomach has felt alittle upset ( it could be all in my head, or something I ate). Keep me updated on your status.SSBD

I don't have any symptoms yet. But I am planning to do a hpt on monday which would be 7 days post transfer and wednesday and friday. My original blood test is on friday.
I am out and about doing everything I normally would ( but at a really slow pace)
I hope we all get a positive. I think with anticardiolipin once they find out and treat you improve your chances of pregnancy to a great extent
( We had a lecture on that). So keep positive. It will work this time.

I started spotting yesterday so called my doctor he had me come in for my serum pregnancy test , They called me a few hours later :( The IVF didnt take so looks like I will do it again in July. I was depressed all day.

I was tempted to do an hpt this morning but I resisted esp. after what my doctor told me that do not ever rely on the hpt because with what we are all doing the only way to really know is the Beta, I am going to wait till Thursday for my Beta. The frequent peeing started last night with lower back ache, is it a sign of pregnancy or is it the progesterone?! my mind plays triks on me, I wish there is a way I can sleep till Thursday. I HATE WAITING!!!!!

Heavenlee I am so sorry about your IVF not working. I will pray that it works for you next time around.
I just can't believe some people fall pregnant so easily on the fall of a hat and some people don't even want a baby. But we are ready to go through so much and we still have to struggle.

Eva any sign is good sign at this stage I would think. I just don't have any signs and requested for a blood test for progesterone and oestrogen if I need to take any supplements. But the nurse seems to think the levels are fine. So back to the waiting. I know what you mean I HATE WAITING TWICE AS MUCH :)) But I guess we don't have a choice. I just want to stay sane till my blood test on saturday. I am going to be naughty and take 3 HPT before saturday. Try and get good sleep in the mean time before thursday.

luckycharm if your level numbers are good that is awesome that you don't need any more painfull injections believe me I have to inject myself four times every single day.
I fully understand what you mean by people fall pregnant so easily, my friend's cousin was going to kill herself because she got pregnant by mistake OMG and she was saying it in my face.For me I would go thru this way again and again because I know that God will bless me with a baby and  all of you ladies after all what you are going through each one of us will have her little angel in her arms just be patient and we will be there soon  because we are dreaming about that day and night. My husband think I am obsessed about getting pregnant, I told him of course I am and that's normal for me to feel so obsessed to be a mother. My neighbor here got pregnant with twins at 48 yo but she had to go thru 5 ivf"s and now she is blessed with her  two kids, they are 7 yo. So our time is coming Hang on there! SSBD to all of us.

Hi guys.
Couldn't wait any longer. Did a HPT. Transfer on tuesday, Pregnyl on wednesday. So this is only 3 days post transfer. Got a very faint positive. I know it is the pregnyl. Since it was very faint, going to do another one on tuesday. If it is strong it is good news. If it is not there then it will be negative. Fingers crossed.
