my doctor started me on Clomid I just did my first round this month & just went in for blood work today. Definitely try seeing a different doctor & see what options you might have , my doctor ignored me at first then they switched me to a new one & he's been amazing.

I have irregular menstrual period too. But my doctor didnt gave me birth control pill. I start taking clomid 'n metformin 2 cycles 'n still didnt get mature folicles. My period will start when i consume progesterone pill, thats make me confuse how to conceive from this.

Sometimes with pcos they will try that to see if they can get ur periods to regulate first. If ur periods or irregular u aren't going to ovulate. I have pcos and we r tryin for our second. I was on birth control first and now I'm on clomid and metformin. Its totally normal for them to try b.c first :)
