Insurance coverage

Hi everyone.....this is my first post. :)
I'm on my third try of IUI, and I noticed that some of you are covered through your insurance.  I was just wondering what insurance helps with the cost of treatments, as SAG does not.

Thanks for any input!

I live in Oregon and have Providence health insurance. They pay 50% of everything except IVF. I also have Healthcomp-they dont cover infertility but they do cover ultrasounds and office visits. For sure shop around.

I live in NY & have GHI which covers 3 IVF cycles & also FET thru USPS (post office). My husband has Cigna & we have a $30,000 cap.
YOu really need to shop around because each company will offer different things even though it's the same insurance. It all depends on what the company wants to put into it.

I have blue cross blue shield ppo of Illinois.  Our insurance pays all but 15%.  So, if I have an appointment for a follicle check or IUI, I pay 15% of that total out of pocket, and they pay the rest.  I believe we have a 20,000 lifetime maximum, but right now we are only on IUI.  IT says up to 4 attempts so I don't know if that's with the IUI or IVF or what.... hopfully I won't have to find out as my second IUI is tomorrow!!!

I would love to know the answer to this. My insurance doesn't cover any infertility.
