Abdominal pain after IUI?

Hi,
I had my 1st IUI on Friday so Im not sure on how Im supposed to feel. I am 4dpiui and Ive been feeling really gassy and had sharp pain in my stomach right about where my uterus would be and feel like I have to poop all the time..Sorry TMI. Also for the last 3 days everytime I go pee and you know how you relax your stomach muscle's to do the deed well I kept getting that sharp pain..now its just a constant pain. Not to bad that I cant go on about my day but it is always there..Is that normal??
Thanks Ladies..

My first IUI I had sharp pains, and I also spotted for a few days. Your uterus is in shock from being poked and having the cathader put in it. If it doesn't stop by tomorrow or the next day I would call your RE and ask just to be sure.

Best of luck!!!! SSBD to you!

are you on progesterone?? that can cause the bloated, constipated type of feel along with cramping too... i had simliar pains the month we got preg! : )   and have also had pressure/sharp pains when urinating when i've had a cyst that developed too.(it almost feels like i can't empty my bladder completely). so i think its ok.. as long as you are still urinating enough and not short of breath i think it is ok! GOOD LUCK during your tww and hopefully a BFP awaits you! : )
